During our search for officiants, we came across Short and Sweet Weddings. There were many great options but something about Albania's profile immediately connected with us. When we contacted them, we requested her as our number 1 choice. They later confirmed her availability and we were ecstatic! Prior to our big day, we scheduled a meet & greet. As this was a destination wedding in Austin, TX. Our connection couldn't have been more destined. We connected instantly as if we've known her for years! She was meant to be part of our big day. We then booked Albania as our officiant. She united us in marriage in a private wedding. Followed by our wedding ceremony the following day surrounded by family and friends. Alby was SUPERB! She was such a kind soul, genuinely cared, loved her profession, carefully listened to our requests, communicated clearly, worked with our schedule, and made our special day(s) run as easy as possible. She went above and beyond to do her very best. And it showed! We highly recommend Albania (Alby) Ventura from Short and Sweet Weddings! Five out of five star service.
Shelly officiated our 10/26/25 wedding and did an AMAZING job! We met with her in-person prior to the ceremony so she could get to know us as a couple and did a fantastic job incorporating our personal story into our ceremony. Shelly is incredibly responsive and easy to work with and our ceremony went off without a hitch. Our friends and family (and us of course) were so impressed and we've gotten multiple comments about how great of a job Shelly did. Overall we could not recommend Short and Sweet and Shelly enough - they helped make our best day even better!
Mo Trevino officiated our wedding on October 4th and it was so perfect! He brought the perfect vibe to our wedding day that we are so so so grateful for. He was hilarious, smooth, professional and knew how to lead the room of our loved ones throughout the ceremony. He made a great first impression during our virtual call, where he really made the effort to get to know us and our story as a couple. He personalized our ceremony and his bilingual services were exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant on our special day!! It was so easy working with Mo and we can't recommend him enough!!! He is amazing!
Gary Lanier officiated our September 8th wedding and he was so wonderful! From our first virtual meeting, he was warm and approachable and made a great first impression. He listened attentively as we spoke of our relationship and our hopes for our ceremony. Afterward, he was communicative and ensured he had the script down perfectly. We are so glad we chose Gary as our officiant. My mom couldn’t stop saying how moved she was by his prayer over us. I was a bundle of nerves during the ceremony but looking to him as he spoke with such conviction gave me a sense of peace. Thank you, Gary!
We couldn't have asked for a better officiant than Gary. He made our ceremony everything we hoped it be—short, sweet, and absolutely perfect. From the start, he was incredibly communicative and made sure we felt comfortable and prepared. On the day of, he delivered a beautiful ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple. We heard nothing but wonderful things from our guests about how meaningful and heartfelt it was, and that's all thanks to Gary. We're so grateful he was part of our special day!
