Silver Lining ist eine versteckte Weinbar und ein Bistro in Honolulu, hinter einer coolen, unauffälligen Tür in einem eher industriellen Teil der Stadt verborgen, mit einer gemütlichen Bar mit 10 Sitzplätzen. Gäste werden von Rick begrüßt und durch eine breite Auswahl an Weinen geführt, darunter Naturweine und Bio-Optionen, sowie Cocktails. Die Speisekarte konzentriert sich auf Snacks im Charcuterie-Stil und tägliche Spezialitäten. Reservierungen über Resy. Ein intimes, handwerklich orientiertes Erlebnis.

Semi-speakeasy vibes. Very intimate and quiet setting. The service was A+. Very attentive and friendly service. Wide selection of wines. Food is more appetizers but still very tasty. Most certainly will return!!
10/10!!! Honestly I know nothing about wine, and the guy there was super knowledgeable and kind in explaining the menu. The ambiance was cool too- hidden and the music didn’t make it feel stuffy at all. I ended up choosing wines from the places I’d want to visit most and all 4 I tried were amazing! I don’t normally go for wine but I would highly recommend. For food, I was blown away by the arancini! SO good! Will definitely be back.
This place is 5/5 stars in all aspects. The vibes feel similar to a speakeasy, intimate setting with high quality service. The wine pours are 2/3 oz pours so you can enjoy many different varieties of organic wine. The menu transports you to different countries with different flavor profiles. Don’t be scared to try a new wine here. Food options were charcuterie based, so great grazing options with the wine. There were also some daily specials that were larger more filling like a brown butter gnocchi or goat cheese plate. Great girls night or date night spot.
We stopped by Silver Lining to celebrate my birthday, and what a gem of a spot this turned out to be! Tucked away in a more industrial part of Honolulu, it’s the kind of place you might miss if you didn’t know to look for it—just follow the vibe and head behind the cool, understated door. Inside, you’ll find a cozy 10-seat bar that feels like you’re entering an experience, not just a bar. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by Rick—welcoming, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. How often do you go to a bar where you're greeted by name and engaged in genuine conversation that respects your comfort level? That alone makes Silver Lining feel special. We were unsure of what we wanted to try, but were helped in choosing a red and white wine— both were delicious. I also had a tequila-based cocktail that was fresh and beautifully balanced, while my husband’s whiskey cocktail was smooth and complex. The craftsmanship behind each drink is undeniable. We didn’t try the food this time, but based on everything else, I’d bet it’s just as great. Silver Lining may be small in size, but they’re doing big, creative things with their expansive selection of spirits and wines. This place is a standout—intimate, elevated, and full of heart. You can book a reservation through Resy at either 5pm or 7:30pm. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re on Oahu.
What a hidden gem! We’re so lucky to have this wine bar / bistro in the neighborhood. Only 10 seats. Food and natural wines are amazing. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy natural wines and pupus with the friendliest and knowledgeable staff, this is it!
