Sim was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding makeup. I did my trial a few months before the wedding, and she listened to what I was loving and what I wasn’t feeling, and It genuinely felt like she understood my vibe right away! On the wedding day, she was so easygoing and calming, and getting ready was actually fun and not stressful. We chatted the whole time, and it felt like hanging out with someone I’d known for a long time. The makeup was absolutely stunning! I felt confident and it still completely felt like me! I barely had to touch up throughout the day with how well it was set. If you’re looking for someone who’s talented, professional, and just a lovely human to be around, book Sim. I’d recommend her a hundred times over!!

Had an amazing experience with Sim. The way she accommodated my needs from day 1, and made sure that everything was perfect, was truly above and beyond her part! My skin is extremely sensitive and uneven, but her application and skin prep was immaculate and lasted me 10 hours till I actually took the makeup off! Would love to work with her again on my reception!

After a terrible experience with a contractual hair and makeup company for my bodybuilding show last year I was determined to find better. Training all year to compete in bodybuilding only to look like my face belonged to an Oompa Loompa on stage was definitely disappointing. I reached out to some fellow competitors from the Calgary area and she did some research and sent me links to hair and makeup professionals that had good reviews. After looking through SIM ARTISTRY portfolio on Instagram I reached out to her. Very impressed with her rapid response and even more impressed that instead of fumbling around online or through text we connected with a phone call immediately. I told her my plight and explained when my show was etc. Everything lined up for her and I booked her for my show. What a lovely experience it was. Sim and Muskaan came to my hotel room, on time, I might add, even after I gave them a schedule change. Both Sim and Muskaan were friendly and professional and really radiated calming vibes. I am not a calm person on show day but somehow their presence kept me feeling completely relaxed. Sim did a great job on my makeup and as you will see from the attached photos, matched my show tan perfectly. Muskaan created an amazing updo that received many compliments in person and on my photos. In fact it was one of the few times that I didn't feel the need to try and mess with my hair at all lol. It looked so gorgeous. I would definitely book SIM ARTISTRY again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a talented hair and makeup duo!!

I had such a great experience working with Sim for my e-shoot. She was so nice, very responsive, and easy to get in touch with throughout the process. I’m not from Calgary (from Toronto) and she made it very easy to communicate. She did a wonderful job on my makeup, and made everything feel effortless. I really appreciated how easy she was to talk to and how comfortable she made me feel. Her prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend booking with her!
