We absolutely love this kids salon! My son has been coming here for the past year, and every single haircut has turned out great. The stylists truly take the time to get to know him, which makes such a difference; he’s comfortable, happy, and always leaves smiling. The salon itself is spotless, welcoming, and clearly well cared for. You can tell a lot of thought goes into making it a great experience for both kids and parents. The owner is present and is always friendly, attentive, and happy to help, which really adds to the warm, family-like atmosphere. I honestly wish I could give this place 10 stars. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a consistently amazing kids haircut experience!
Sit Still is such a gem of a business in our local community that caters to all ages. From first haircuts in a little airplane chair to your 900th haircut, they do it all! Jennifer, the owner, is the sweetest and really cares about all the kids that come through her salon. All of her stylist are well versed on the latest trends. I saw a high school aged girl come in with her mom to ask for a “wolf cut.” Off the bat, I had to google what that was but one of the stylist knew exactly what that haircut was and began advising and being honest about how high maintenance that haircut was. The girl wanted the hair cut anyways, so the stylist went at it! I have 3 little girls, so I decided to have a fun girl’s day to pamper them with manicures and haircuts. One of my girls got colored hair extensions and another got glittery hair extensions. It’s been probably 6 weeks already and the extensions are still going strong! We shampoo, condition, hair brush and pony tail like usual and there are no issues! Also, if you are a millennial mom, you would appreciate the music selection :) They had TLC, no scrubs, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie just to name a few tracks. Just adds to the overall fun vibe the salon has to offer on a pamper day with my girls. The salon is immaculate and they have cute hair accessories for grab on your way out. Oh and they use very high quality, high end hair products. Price is extremely reasonable and well worth the care and experience that Sit Still provides. Highly recommend!!
I contacted Sit Still Kids three weeks ago and scheduled an appointment, I had done this online and it was very easy. We unfortunately had a hair issue at school and so I had to reschedule and they were able to get me in for the following week on the same day of the week and time, which was very nice. We were greeted by Olivia the moment we walked in and Sara is the hairstylist that did my daughter’s 6K extensions. We had such a good time there. Sara was so knowledgeable and was so nice, she let us customize our entire experience, not just doing it how she thought was best, but got the opinion of myself and my daughter before she started any of the process. She explained to every step along the way and what we need to do in the future. I didn’t catch the owner‘s name, but she came in and talked to me the whole time and just like everyone else made us feel so welcome. We are on day four of her extensions and went through the first hair washing last night and so far everything looks amazing. My daughter is obsessed with her hair and we’ve already had a couple people ask who and where did she get that from because it looks so awesome. My favorite part is that you can see it but it’s not overwhelming and it has just the right amount of touch of color. We live about 35 minutes away and will be returning for all of our hair extension needs. Highly recommend coming here.
Amazing experience! I took my son for his first haircut. I was so impressed with Annabel’s ability to keep my son safe and happy while giving him his first hair cut. I like that you can do no iPad or have an iPad if you are a screen family. This was worth every penny spent.
My daughter had her first ever haircut today at Sit Still. The place was so cute and clean. The stylist, Lessly, was so sweet and did a phenomenal job with my 2 year old. The owner was also so kind. We did a hair wash, hair cut, glitter tattoo, and picked up a new cat friend from the retail section. We will definitely be back for future haircuts! I highly recommend them!
