Booked Sitting Ducks for a lunch presentation that originally was for 20 that grew to 70 on the actual day of the event - they went above and beyond to source extra food in time for the participants to all get fed. Thank you Richard and the team - top marks!! Highly recommend.
Danny recently catered for a joint birthday and anniversary celebration for my family. From start to finish Danny was extremely responsive to questions and very approachable. The canapés were delicious and the feedback from our guests was very positive. I would highly recommend Sitting Ducks to anyone needing catering.
Danny Corvini and his team delivered outstanding food and service for my recent significant birthday celebration in late March 2023, making a major contribution to a fantastic event. Having experienced the Sitting Ducks service and food on two occasions at our friends' place and having engaged different caterers for a wake in 2020, I felt that I didn’t need to look elsewhere. My instincts were rewarded in spades! The quality and portion sizes of the hot/cold canapes were excellent, and vegan selections were tasty and well thought out. The team who came into our home – waiters John and Lorena, and chef Laura – were first class. Thoroughly professional, effective and courteous, they engaged effortlessly with my family, friends and me. Our kitchen was left spotless and they cleaned up the party detritus at the half way mark when they departed which greatly reduced our job the next day. Friends offered many compliments about the food and service. Sitting Ducks cares about its product, and actively sought my feedback after the event. I couldn't fault them. I recommend Sitting Ducks without hesitation and they will be my first point of call for any future in-home catering requirements.
Thanks again to the team at Sitting Ducks for an outstanding food and beverages service at our wedding. From start to finish, working with Sitting Ducks has been a delight. The adjustment to the wet weather venue on 24 hours notice was particularly impressive. My 1 year old grand-daughter devoured the duck from the rice paper rolls, much to the chagrin of her parents. My personal favourite of the savouries was the tuna croquettes - a lovely modern update to a traditional dish. Everything was beautifully plated, and the wait staff were friendly and courteous. Multiple guests told me that they had not been planning on eating any dessert, but the mini lemon meringue pies proved irresistible. The individual fruit salads for my diabetic husband and I was a lovely touch. A shout out to our maitre d', who identified a problem with the delivery of the drinks that we had arranged privately, and came to me with a proposal for a solution. Excellent problem solving there. Definitely recommend Sitting Ducks Catering!
It was our absolute pleasure working with Sitting Ducks Catering for our Christmas party which was a mammoth task at an external venue in the elements for 250 people. With Danny and Ewan's expertise, they made organising the event feel as easy as a dinner party for two! Nothing was ever an issue, they listened to what we where trying to achieve and they where paramount in making it the most successful event. The food was amazing (people are still talking about it) and all the staff where professional and fun. We can't wait to work with Sitting Ducks again at our next event and highly recommend them.
