Let me start by saying we used to love this place. However, after our most recent stay, we will never return. I dropped my two Australian Shepards off on a Tuesday and returned to pick them up the following Monday. Let me start by saying for that and two baths, it was $700!! We've boarded them longer than this before and had them groomed for no where near that price, but that's not the point of this. I'll gladly pay for a service if it means my dogs are cared for. Here's where it gets frustrating and disgusting to say the least. When I arrived yesterday, she told me the price. I started asking questions. She started listing that both dogs got some sort of de-shedding service that I didn't ask for. Okay, no big deal. Then she lists a "handling fee." I asked her what that is, and apparently its when they muzzle your dog. I became enraged. They've never been muzzled before. Why was I not contacted? I would've said discontinue the groom and I'll take them somewhere else. She explained that it was Zoey who groomed them, and not their typical lady (I think she said Whitney- not sure.) So anyways, you're telling me my dogs who are as sweet as can be (Denali-10 years old and pepper is 4) who have never needed muzzled at their priot visits, now suddenly need muzzled? I wasn't informed in the slightest so to only find that out after questioning the $700 bill is sickening. If that wasnt enough, when I picked them up they came home with over HALF of their food. I sent two full gallon bags. So they also didn't eat while they were there for 6 days. The minute the got home they both ran straight to the water bowl and drank TWO FULL bowls of water. But what really broke our hearts is when we bent down to pet them and they both cowered. Denali the older one, now limps on her back right leg too. So, on that note, I told her we will never return. I even called to check on them and whoever answered said they were fine. The only positive thing I can say is she removed the "de-shedding fee" and the "handling fee" from my bill. So I still paid nearly $600 for my dogs to not be fed or cared for. This new management is a complete turnaround from when Teresa was in charge. She truly cared about the animals. It's probably also important to note, we've been going to Sleepy Hollow every year (multiple times a year) for over 4 years now. We will not recommend or use them again, unless Teresa returns. Update: Nicki contacted me and apologized, refunded $90 I was overcharged, and offered for us to return with a free night and some playtime. I appreciate the gesture and mainly the apology, because in today's society that's rare. She also said they updated their handling policy and will contact the owner if a dog is to be muzzled. While I'm sad at how this unfolded, I'm happy they took some accountability.

Great price. It seems that might be the only thing though. When I dropped my dog off I inquired about grooming. They said they would contact me to set that up while she was being boarded. They did not. I had to reach back out to inquire about that again. Then I had that set up.. or atleast I thought I did. Signed their docusign, sent a picture of an idea of what I wanted my dog to look like as requested. Low and behold when I came to pick my dog up she was not groomed. Now here is the kicker and the reason for the one star review. My dog had actual feces stuck to her butt area that was hard. So much so that when I had to get it off of her at home she was whimpering. This tells me all I need to know about the level of care at this facility. While I know some folks won't mind, and will just board their animal just because. I expect my animal to be taken care of, and not have feces stuck to their body for god knows how long. I would give less than a 1 star review if I could.

Highly recommend! For large dog bath and brush w/essentials upgrade and nail trim it was ~$78. They were super friendly and communicative, and the facility is adorable. They even went over their tornado contingency plan with me for my peace of mind because we were having severe weather!
