I LOVE this place. The jewelry is amazing and unique, and the staff is top notch. Jared answered all of my questions and even saved the day when my pearl earring broke on the spot! This is a must-visit when you’re walking down Newbury in Boston. Friendly, knowledgeable, and a love of being helpful — you’ll find it all here. The vintage pieces are gorgeous and many come from generations of folks who’ve lived right there in the neighborhood. The shop has been around for over 40 years!

I am obsessed with the magic of Small Pleasures and with Jared+ Shelly! First off, phenomenal customer service. Their jewelry is unique, one of a kind, and I feel a sense of joy every time I go in - it's starting to become a problem I can't stay away! Everything is high quality and spectacular, you can tell they love what they do and really have a keen eye for special pieces. We got our engagement ring here, then almost a year later went back for our wedding rings as well. I also got these beautiful pearl earrings for the wedding. It's all absolutely stunning, every time we go they clean our jewelry and the resizing of the engagement ring went beautifully. I've also taken my mother there to get a new wedding band (loved), and my husband got me some gorgeous earrings as a birthday gift one time too. Jared- thank you for helping me find the engagement ring of my dreams. I literally walked in to do a quick perusal not planning on finding anything and Jared put this ring on my finger and it was love at first try. It's the most beautiful & unique ring, and the husband is also obsessed with his ring and never takes it off. These are timeless pieces we'll cherish forever. Thank you thank you! I had such positive experiences both times I've visited. Both times I've come in for repairs and the man who helped me was so kind and knowledgeable! He helped me fix my anklets that needed their chain trimmed, he untangled a necklace that had a nasty knot in it too! And I have a pearl necklace that needed restringing and I got it back in perfect condition. I was nervous to send it away as it's very sentimental to me, but I would trust these people with anything. 10/10 service and kindness! They also have a beautiful jewelry selection as well.
