You know how signing up to a new gym can be daunting? You have no idea what you're doing, and you're not sure what your best options are? That's how I felt when joining Snap - until I actually went in and spoke to them. They are a super welcoming team, with great customer skills and a very well-equipped gym. Yes, it gets busy - it's in central Bristol after all - but only during peak times and even then you can still get to the equipment you need. A real standout point of this gym is the personal trainer team, especially Marcus. His encouragement, understanding, compassion and knowledge are unmatched, and without getting him involved in my training there's no chance I would still be maintaining my gym routine - let alone signing up for a powerlifting competition, which is absolutely not something I would have expected to be doing in my mid-forties with no prior experience or exposure. But bluntly - if you want a good gym with a personal touch, choose Snap; and if you want an incredible personal trainer, ask the team to put you in touch with Marcus. You won't regret it.
I joined Snap Fitness in September 2024 after not having had a gym membership for over 25 years! I couldn’t recommend personal training with Marcus highly enough. Focused but fun, he puts you at ease and had me achieving personal goals and visible results within a couple of months. Marcus has created training programmes that work within my limitations and he regularly changes up the programmes to help me stay motivated and achieving results. I’ve been really happy with the progress made to date and certainly couldn’t have done it without Marcus’ expertise and guidance. I’ve so much more confidence in my ability now and I owe that to him. Absolutely worth the investment of both time and money!
Been going here for years and training with Marcus. It’s a welcoming gym in a great location. It’s small but the team work hard to keep it all running smoothly. So long as you avoid the 6pm slot, you rarely have an issue accessing racks or machines. Highly recommend.
I’ve trained at Snap Fitness Clifton for a couple of years now, I highly recommend the gym to anyone looking for a supportive community that uplifts all their members. The membership also comes with loads of discounts across a wide variety of fitness related websites and shops. Working with Marcus for these last couple years has given me so many positives, not just seeing progress across my strength and conditioning but also loving going to the gym and feeling much more confident. Marcus has dealt with me having constant injuries from my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu hobby, and had ensured the program was always updated to allow me to train despite little injuries and niggles. Highly recommend working with Marcus if you are able to get a spot!
