Southern Brewing & Winery seriously impressed us. Their beer selection is incredible, and every beer we tried was thoughtfully crafted and truly unique. The guy at the bar was extremely knowledgeable, he could talk in detail about the hops used, the grain bill, and what made each beer special, which made the experience even better. They don’t just make beer, they also produce wine and ciders, and the shop itself is stocked with plenty of supplies for home beer and wine making. As a tourist, I’ll admit this isn’t the prettiest part of town, but we came for some local taste of beers, and it absolutely delivered. The vibe is very chill and local-focused, and you can tell this is a place regulars love, which makes it feel even more special. Parking is available at the rear of the building, it’s pet-friendly, and while they don’t serve food, they do offer some snacks — plus you’re welcome to bring food from outside. Excellent beers, great knowledge, and a laid-back atmosphere — well worth the stop

Trae Limbach
It is nice to find unique breweries and this one hits the spot. Good selection of different beers to choose from. No matter what kind of beer you like, they have one for you. Also have some unique combinations to pick from. Definitely recommend the Not Your Snow White Stout. Pretty light for a stout, but good coffee smell and hint of coffee flavor in the beer. Bartender was awesome with recommendations as well. Outdoor seating available if you want to sit outside.
Mister Jon
Large selection of beer. Dog friendly. They had two food trucks when I was there on a Friday night. They serve beer and some limited wine, although I think they'd be better off just sticking to beer options. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. Beer was average to slightly above average. They have a large outdoor patio. There are two off-street parking lots (one across the side street and the other next to the building). Note that the entrance is in the rear of the building.
The Hungry Taiga
This place was pretty cool. My bf went in for questions about their brewing and possibly classes. The guy working the bar was friendly and was knowledgeable to answer a lot of his questions. The bar itself was really interesting. You could see some barrels and some comfy couches/chairs? The bartender offered him some tasty samples. There’s an outside area that’s pet friendly. They had poo pouches available.
