2 great massages so far with Maria C. Don’t hesitate to be specific and work with her to really figure out what you need. She got in to some muscles I didn’t even know I had! Haha. And she also started to work some spots on my hip/waist that had been bothering me for a couple years and one area in particular that I’d tried to massage and stretch myself but could never quite get fully. A true therapist of the body!
My deep tissue massage from Nicolas Shade was one of the best I’ve ever had. His pressure was perfect, he spent most of his time on the areas I requested, and I felt like he “listened” to my body. April, at the reception desk, was exceptionally classy and kind. She suggested I book a follow-up visit since I was raving about my experience, and she was ever-so-patient while I looked through three different online work calendars to check my schedule!! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stellar massage and a great experience.
I’ve been coming to Space for more than 11 years, and I have never been disappointed. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The space is spotless, beautifully decorated, and has such a calming energy. All of the LMTs I’ve seen have been great, but John (the owner) in particular gives the BEST massage in the business—thoughtfully tailored to my needs, with the perfect balance of pressure and technique. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their craft. I left feeling lighter, looser, and completely renewed. Skip the large chains and support this small business. You’ll never consider getting a massage anywhere else!
We just left and I had to actually pause and write this review . AMAZING ! I’m from a different state … I came here with my mom simply by googling places to get a massage in the area . I had Randall and my mom had Maria G. AH-MAZING. I leave feeling SO relaxed and refreshed and my muscles feel great . My 70 year old mom is RAVING over her massage. It’s an Inviting atmosphere and very well trained therapists. DEFINITELY curated to your personal needs (and not just going through a checklist of techniques) like other places I’ve been too. When In Phoenix… I’ll be back!
Highly recommend! I had the best massage experience by John (owner). The studio was very well decorated with touches of modern and bohemian. Made for a very aesthetically appealing and warm welcome. John was very kind and professional. Made effort to understand your needs and focus. The room itself was therapeutic and relaxing. I had the most comprehensive deep tissue massage and stretching. The oils used felt luxurious and high quality. Love the hot stones and towels. I felt safe and respected there as a female as massage can be physically personal. I appreciated that the most. John was highly skilled with massage, form, position. I would trust his staff to have all similar qualities. Worth every dollar!
