I’ve always loved Stella Dallas and have gone out of my way to support the brand — I’ve shopped in both the Austin and New Orleans locations, the stylists follow me on Instagram, and truly enjoyed supporting a small business. Unfortunately, my recent online shopping experience has been really disappointing. I ordered a jacket that was over $100, and when it arrived it was far too large to wear. When I reached out about returning it, a day after it arrived, I was told it was final sale, however, nowhere during checkout or on the product page did it state that the item was final sale. Since then, I’ve emailed multiple times and haven’t received any response. Being completely ignored after years of loyalty feels really discouraging, especially when I’m simply trying to return an item that was misrepresented at purchase. I understand boutiques have policies, but clear communication and transparency matter, and so does responding to customers. I hope this can be resolved, because I genuinely want to continue supporting this brand, but this experience has made that difficult.
I was disappointed with Stella Dallas’s return policy. They only allow returns within 10 days, which is quite a short window. While I understand their policy offers store credit instead of a refund, the biggest issue for me was the limited time frame. I live out of town and wasn’t able to get back to the store within 10 days. I made the trip back to the city specifically for a doctor’s appointment 20 days after my purchase, hoping to return the item, but was told it was too late to return—even for store credit. It felt unfair given my circumstances, especially since the policy doesn’t accommodate customers who live farther away. I love supporting local businesses, but I think Stella Dallas could be more flexible with their return window.
This store has such a cute atmosphere, and the girls who work here were SO helpful! I came in on both a Friday and Saturday and both times the staff were so friendly. They have a huge selection of clothes from casual to fancy. Definitely recommend checking it out!

The selection here was like nothing else. The styles are fantastic, we had a fashion emergency and they not only matched us an outfit but they had the perfect boots. Bri was great, we were so lucky she was there to help us try different combinations.
