Lauren is absolutely the best! I get so many compliments on my color, as she makes my blonde highlights look natural. She is so meticulous with color - providing highlights and depth that grows with a naturally lived-in look. I can live in my color for months without worrying about my roots (or my grey) showing or having a blunt line of demarcation! As a natural 'dirty blonde' (or dishwater blonde, as one stylist referred), getting highlights that look and grow without looking dull or one-dimensional has been challenging - but Lauren knows the secret to doing just that! The Strands + Co salon is a little slice of heaven. It is quiet and private, unlike the busy and loud hustle of most. She has absolutely everything that you need and takes the time to talk through everything she is doing (cut, color, products, styling, and extension needs) so that you leave completely happy and satisfied. You can tell she knows her stuff and truly enjoys what she does. I highly recommend Strands + Co!
When my daughter, Arden, wanted to have her hair colored for the first time, I knew I only trusted Lauren. Her hair was transformed from dull and dry to bright and healthy. Arden really enjoyed the experience. She felt like Lauren was very thorough in asking questions about how she cared for her hair, how much time she had to spend styling it, and how often she would be able to come in for maintenance. She also enjoyed having options for snacks and drinks. We were both extremely happy with the experience and results. I would (and do) highly recommend Lauren for my friends and their teens- she is the best! (Before and after pics attached)
Lauren is incredible! Her knowledge about hair - volume, texture, length, flow, color, etc. - and how to create the desired look is phenomenal. I wanted natural color that would cover my "sparkle" and that would be low-maintenance, and I wanted a cut that would keep my length and body. I searched a long time for someone who can give me that "natural" look (cover my grays, yet no one else knows). Plus, Lauren is a delightful woman. I feel completely at-ease and taken care of by her. She's kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. If you're looking for a new stylist, I 100% recommend her.
