We worked with Max and Style Matters to DJ our wedding. We were assigned a DJ about a month before the event which felt a little last-minute, but ended up working out fine. Style Matters shared a detailed DJ Questionnaire, which required some time to fill out but was very helpful in order to share our vision with our DJ. We met with Max 2 weeks before the event, and aligned on our schedule and song choices for the evening. Max was an awesome DJ and kept the dance floor lively throughout the night. He played 99% of our must-plays and was attentive to what music resonated with our guests. We definitely recommend Style Matters and Max for anyone planning a wedding/event!

We are so thrilled with our experience with Style Matters for our recent wedding, where we had a string trio, DJ & percussionist. Spencer was our primary point of contact and from our initial phone call listened to what we wanted and also took the time to fully review the questionnaire we completed to properly match us up with a DJ who could execute the vibe we were going for. Our ceremony was made even more memorable by the beautiful performance of String Theory. Their playing created a romantic, elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the moment, and we received so many compliments from guests about how special it felt to have live strings. They also performed during our cocktail hour where they did fun renditions of popular songs and created a lively, upbeat vibe. The reception was just as exceptional. Ryan, our DJ, kept the evening flowing seamlessly and ensured the dance floor was full all night. His ability to read the room and choose the right music at the right time was truly impressive. He also followed our timeline perfectly, not missing a beat when it was time for introductions, speeches, and dances. Adding Alejandro on percussion elevated the experience even further—the live drums brought a vibrant, energetic element that gave the celebration an unforgettable spark. We are so grateful to this talented team for the role they played in making our wedding day so special. Their professionalism, artistry, and passion shined on the day of, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for music that is both expertly executed and truly memorable.

We had a great experience with Style Matters and we highly recommend booking them! We chose to go with String Theory for the ceremony and cocktail hour and they were a perfect string ensemble for our garden themed wedding. Spencer matched us with DJ Duke who was incredibly easy to work with. He understood all the facets of our program and executed flawlessly on coordinating the audio and music for the ceremony and reception, we had no issues the entire day. Duke also really understood what we were looking for when it came to the music - we love a range of music (electronic/house, disco, pop) and Duke knew how to perfectly mix the styles together to keep everyone dancing all night. If you're looking for somebody who can read the crowd and keep the energy high, and especially somebody who knows how to weave in electronic/house music, we highly recommend requesting Duke!
