I am so disappointed. I came in and paid $100 deposit and then left paying 245$ total. Kat and the front office lady told me that the brass color was normal from going from black to light so I was trying to be understanding. I came in for a balayage and I did go from black hair to lightening it and a toner. This looks horrible. I sent them photos and I am going to a new place today for them to have to fix it completely. If I don’t get refunded then this place is absolutely cruel. The new place consultation was shocked they charged me so much and with how it looks I was crying. Please contact me back Salon Surreal and please kindly issues my refund fully. This isn’t okay.
Completely ruined my hair, i asked for long layers and showed exactly where I wanted my layers, my shortest layer is as short as my face frame and the length was “kept” by a strand, it looks like I have short hair and a random hair extension in! I left with my hair still wet so i didn’t see the full result until I tried styling it, which of course got no where. I asked for a refund but they said due to their policy they can’t refund me because it’s already been done! Like yes I so expected my hair to get chopped and should’ve planned a refund ahead of time, lmao like what?! The girl was very nice, but I’m not happy at all with this haircut and am now in the process of getting extensions put in. In the text they acknowledged that they saw how my hair was messed up but unfortunately can’t refund because it’s already “done”
AVOID AVOID AVOID…. WORST haircut I have EVER gotten, I would have been better go to Supercuts or Ulta. Saw Kyna, who is “supposed” to be a level 4- psh YEA RIGHT!!! She should be a hairdresser in training at best!! My hair has never been so un-even and choppy. I literally just wanted a straight across cut in the back and layers in the front with side bangs. She doesn’t know how to do layers in the front, side bangs OR cut the back evenly. She “texturized the bottom” too which made it horrible and frizzy/split end look. So UNHAPPY!! I didn’t call the salon because I didn’t want it to get cut even shorter. I went to another salon to get a consult on my color and the girl told me I needed a haircut- 2 days after this HORRIBLE haircut!!! $70 for a hack job- TERRIBLE!!!! I do not recommend Kyna or the salon in general they clearly do not hold their stylist to any kind of accountability or skill level! AVOID!
I’m really glad to have found this spot only six minutes from our house! My 12-year-old had her first appointment with Angelina and she loved it! She was very sweet and helped my daughter feel comfortable and cared for. The cut turned out beautifully! She trimmed her ends and gave her fresh curtain bangs. Her favorite part was the amazing scalp and shoulder massage that she received during her shampooing. She had never experienced this before so it made her feel special. While I was waiting with my nine-year-old and her friend, a different stylist let them help her sweep up and use the cool hair vacuum. She was so sweet to them rather than being annoyed at there being lively kids in the waiting area. Lastly, I really appreciated the price of the cut. It’s difficult these days to get a simple trim for less than $70. We will definitely be back!
