Best cakes and cupcakes in the Willow Glen area. I really miss their whoopie pies, they need to bring those back!
Got cake twice, they add too much sugar. It makes it not enjoyable. Its not just me, everyone who ate it said the same thing each time. I had to throw it away in trash. Sucks because cakes are good quality. I had susies cake from other locations and they are normal sweetness. Hope the management realizes that feedback is important for them to improve vs providing excuses and saying the taste is subjective. Taste of 40 plus people is not subjective. If no one eats the cake due to sweetness, then who is it for?
I picked up a raspberry vanilla cake yesterday for Mother’s Day. The cake was dense, gluey and looked not properly cooked. I was expecting an airy cake like their excellent very berry cake. It was a disappointment for such an expensive cake. why decorate such a cake as the cake is layered it is impossible to miss that texture? Frankly if I could I would return it for a refund.
This charming bakery has a cozy vibe - especially the sweet green and white paint on the walls that makes the whole place feel sugar-dusted. You can actually see the baking magic happening on-site. The cupcakes are adorable and Instagram-ready, I tried a few treats, and while the whoopie pie was a total win, the chocolate cupcake leaned a bit bitter for my taste. They tuck your treats in the prettiest mint polka-dotted boxes with instructions on top. The overall experience was delightful , and I’d definitely pop back in for more sugary cheer!
Weekend visit(~5.30 pm): A little on expensive side for cupcakes(~5$ for one w taxes) but really good. By the way they’ve pre-orders open for thanksgiving too. Ordered red velvet cupcake, the frosting was good, not too sugary, ended up wanting more. My friends ordered chocolate and pumpkin cupcake were good, apparently pumpkin cupcake was the best.
