We are a homeschooling family and came to Sylvan because one of our children had fallen behind in language arts and we needed support catching him up to his grade level. He learned a lot of skills both in the language arts space and just all around self discipline and hard work. Sylvan has an incredibly kind and supportive staff, and they will go out of their way to work with you to help your children with your educational goals.
Sylvan is excellent! We had multiple meetings to plan our daughters lessons to make sure the lessons focused on the most important topics for ACT prep, and their online lessons and review allowed for extra review and measurable progress. Highly recommend!
Nothing but good things to say about Sylvan Learning of Brookfield. I don't write reviews often, but felt compelled to comment that the team here did great work and showed fantastic attention to detail for our daughter's needs. She needed to improve her ACT scores for college admission and Sylvan was able to home in on the exact areas she needed attention, and put a training/learning plan in place that was effective and successful. In just weeks of tutoring she increased her scores by 2 to 3 points, which we understand can be difficult for a test like this in that short of time. We highly recommend Sylvan Learning!
I’m 42 and I went to Sylvan when I was a kid and it helped me stay at or ahead of grade level. I ended up getting accepted into a prestigious Jesuit private school in Phoenix and attending a University then acquiring my MBA. My wife and I now have three little ones and our 5 year old daughter was falling a little behind in 4K. After 6 months in Sylvan she went from recognizing 7/26 letters to 26/26 and is beginning to read. She is now at and even a little ahead of grade level expectations. We could not more highly recommend Sylvan to not only get your kids up to grade level if they are behind, but to continue it to get them ahead and ready for high school and college.
