A couple of Saturdays ago right after New Years me and few buddies played Tangle Ridge for our first time. It was a far drive, but we all enjoyed our round. We were surprised at the conditions of the course being so well with this dry winter season. We didnt really notice any problem areas at all. The greens were challenging with the breaks and slopes and elevation changes but rolled true. It was well worth the cost and our time with the extra drive time included. Afterwards, as me and my friends were eating in the clubhouse dining area, one of the managers named Kevin aka Shorty approached us and really made us feel welcomed and thanked us for coming out. Super friendly guy and very hospitable. Kudos to Shorty and the rest of the staff for exceeding all of our expectations on and off the course.

Fun course. Good layout, good condition. Pace was a little slow but tolerable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely play here again. Well worth the drive.

Great golf course. Priced VERY reasonably. A pro course with amateur price. Absolutely beautiful. I just wished the people I ended up playing with were less "golf robots" and more human.

Great track! Course was in excellent condition. Greens were a tad slow but in very good condition. Pretty unique course for the DFW area. Feels more like a course down in hill county.

Played a Thursday solo round at Tangle Ridge on a hot day in August. The course was pretty good and I can't think of any complaints. The greens were fast all day is the one thing. The practice setup is good with the chipping and putting area. The range maxes out around 275. There is water/ice at the start of round, hole 8 and 15. There is some elevation changes and great scenery and houses. Loved playing this course, fairways and greens looked great for all the heat and lack of rain. They are punching the greens in early September.
