Bruce was fantastic to work with. He was immensely thorough with repairing our tub surround, letting us know exactly what he would do before setting to task and leaving his workspace clean afterwards. He's not only a great handyman, but also full of advice as well. To top it all off, he prices his jobs fairly and upfront. We would be delighted to work with Bruce again in the future and will reach back out if anything else comes up.
Highly recommend Bruce! We had Bruce out to our house to provide a quote for several projects (cat door installation, window repair, TV mounting). He provided knowledgeable and unbiased advice, even advising us against some of our ideas based on his expertise. For the projects we elected to work with him on, he provided high quality and professional work. We will certainly be using him again for future work and highly recommend him.
I needed someone to repair my 2 porches as the wood was damaged by animals and the elements. Bruce was very affordable and did a wonderful job replacing the wood boards. For my larger porch, the wood required more of a specialty cut which he was able to reproduce. I would absolutely reach out to him for another project.
Bruce Terzian is excellence personified. I had a double set of drapes installed. It was a tricky project, as there was not much clearance from the baseboard heating system on either side of the balcony doors. Not only did Bruce do a brilliant job, he thought of a better way to do it than I had originally envisioned. He also oversaw the hardware selection. In addition, he has great communication skills. He communicates with the client frequently and clearly. He always lets you know when he has the time to work on your project and he’ll be there when he says he will be there. In addition to his extensive toolkits he brings many years of experience to the job. I unhesitatingly recommend him for your next project.
16MAY2024: Hired Bruce for another job to add a better handrail to our wall after one that was poorly installed fell out. Given the odd materials that made up our wall (see photos) it required some extra effort to ensure it was fit securely. Bruce was creative in his solution and added wood boards/molding to the wall to make a decorative faux wainscoting. I really love it and think it looks original to our 1930s house. Once again very happy with the work that Bruce did and highly recommend! 2021: Bruce installed curtains across our house after I had issues installing them myself. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful even with other issues that I had around the house including quickly fixing a door that wouldn't close properly. I will definitely be using his services for other projects in our house and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman who knows what he's doing - especially in an older Boston home!
