I met the owner Monte when he shopped at my old job. He was so kind and friendly and really left an impression, so after I got engaged I immediately sought him out. Now, I still did my due diligence and also shopped around but came back to Monte for a couple reasons. His pricing was great, selection was awesome, as well as all the examples of incredible works he’s made. More than anything though, it was his ability to cater to my mom’s dietary needs. She is deathly allergic to the whey protein in dairy and not a single other bakery I checked out offered a dairy free option. We emailed a bit about the details and I sent in an inspiration photo. I brought my fresh flowers in the day before the wedding and had it delivered on the day of. He absolutely nailed it! In all the rush of the day, our cake topper got missed and wasn’t placed on the cake, yet I wasn’t even upset. It was still beautiful and perfect. It tasted delicious and my mom was able to feel included, which was the most important thing of all. I will continue to go to Monte with all my future celebratory dessert needs and will recommend him to everyone. Thanks for helping make our day so wonderful!

They can really do anything! Loved the cupcake I tried Edited: Monte from that’s the cake helped me build a beautiful dessert table for my wedding. Monte was kind and helpful! The whole experience from the tasting to the day of the wedding was wonderful. Monte laid out a beautiful table with the cake stands and trays I brought. People were absolutely raving about the desserts! Highly recommend the blueberry and lemon cake!!, lemon bars, pink champagne cake pops, Mexican chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse shooters, creme puffs and the brownies. Most of the items were gone by the end of the day so I’ll have to come back soon for more.
This place is amazing! I needed a birthday cake, a few bakeries closer to me didn’t respond or couldn’t make a specific geode-type cake my wife wanted for her birthday. But Monte was very helpful, responsive, and I was blown away when I picked up my cake! It was a geode cake with a beach theme. Simply AMAZING! It was SO good tasting, vanilla and raspberry! I will definitely drive the extra mile and stop by for my next cake! All her friends will too! What an impression!
This cake was absolutely amazing! My boyfriend ordered it for me to celebrate my birthday and its exactly what I wanted. The icing was perfect and the presentation really wowed me. We got a cookies n cream flavored cake with the same flavor filling and it was amazing. We are very impressed with the customer service my boyfriend received as an employee gave very clear instructions on how to help keep it cool on the drive home in this Texas heat. Thank you! We will be back.
