Gelegen in der 1159 Nuuanu Ave im Chinatown von Honolulu ist The ARTS at Marks Garage eine kleine, einladende gemeinnützige Kunstgalerie und Aufführungsraum. Es veranstaltet monatliche Ausstellungen mit wechselnden Themen und verfügt über einen Black-Box-Aufführungsraum sowie eine Galerie im Foyer. Am ersten Freitagabend laden Künstlerinnen und Künstler sowie Besucher dazu ein, sich zu vernetzen und verschiedene Medien zu entdecken.

This art exhibit venue is set in Chinatown. The exhibits change monthly with different themes. For example. In 2025 February is Fantasy and fairytale. March is Women Power. Many local seasoned and new artists have a variety of medium artwork and pop art for sale. Check out the new exhibits each month and mingle with artists and art lovers on the First Friday evenings (5-8 p.m. Appetizers provide until they gone.). Please Note: The Arts by Marks Garage does not run the garage. The comments regarding the garage do not apply to this art venue.

A small but welcoming space in the heart of the community! There is a black box performance space and a local gallery in the foyer—this is a rare treat. Many substantial bars and restaurants nearby and plenty of very easy places to park—great for a family outing or a date night that will be way above the average. I highly recommend supporting this space and the people who give the arts a chance to thrive here in multiple disciplines. ❤️
This is only a review on the parking garage. CHEAPEST PLACE DOWNTOWN, at least that I've found. Most places are $21, even municipal parking. This garage is only $10 for a business day. It's clean, no elevator though, only stairs. Don't pay attention to the arrows painted on the floors, pay attention to the signs to find out where to go. Remember where you park, because the levels aren't labeled. Take your ticket with you when you leave your car because the kiosk to pay is on the bottom level (near the foot path to enter/exit). When you return to leave, pay at the kiosk, you'll get another ticket which you give to the machine at the exit to raise the gate. The kiosk does take card, unlike many other parking garages.
Ich gehe seit dem Jahr 2000 regelmäßig in dieses Theater! Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen, hier eine Show zu besuchen, sich die monatlichen Kunstinstallationen anzusehen und das Theater für eigene Veranstaltungen oder Shows zu buchen.
