A very well kept store. The ladies are very nice and helpful. The prices are great and great finds too.
Went in to buy a chandelier that was on its final ticket sale and I got in line at the door like you’re supposed to and there was another lady there that came in after me although she was wandering around in the parking lot she was not in line and Blubrd did not honor being in line as the solution to get the chandelier. She was wandering around the parking lot! They made me draw number although I had the right to the chandelier because I was first in store, I was the first in line and they still didn’t care. This is unacceptable. There are Bluebirds painted on the concrete outside the front of the door to show you how to stand in line and they refused to let me have the chandelier as I would be first in line following the rules. Along with a security officer who is a straight up bully for the store!!!
I visited Blue Bird Circle on Saturday, 9/6 around 1PM. Cashier, Gayle and her cashier partner were very dismissive, zero customer service skills. I watched them both have a very attentive encounter with the customers in front of me. The whole time both cashiers and the customers were laughing and talking. When I get to the register, I am not acknowledged in any way. Gayle and the other cashier are having a personal conversation about the multiple surgeries that Gayle has had over the past few years. Gayle does not tell me my total, just tells me swipe my card. Due to her holding her personal conversation, she does not realize that I’ve already done everything on my end to pay. And to top it all off, instead of Gayle handing me my receipt in my hand, like normal cashiers do, she proceeds to lay it on the counter, does not say a word to me. Never looks at me, never acknowledges me. As I read other reviews, I see that I am not the only person that has experienced this type of treatment here. Needless to say I will not be returning to this place.
Prices seem rather high on clothing, but some great bargains to be found in antique furniture. Very clean store
This was the fourth thrift/consignment store I went to looking to furnish my condo. After the disorganized albeit well-intentioned chaos of the first three places, I loved The Bluebird Circle. It is a curated experience with room settings to display the furniture, art, rugs- everything. I found an amazing set of chairs, a glass coffee table, a beautiful lamp. The mostly volunteer staff were incredibly helpful. and it’s a great cause, with proceeds supporting the Texas Children’s Hospital.
