This venue was phenomenal on my wedding day ! This wasn’t on my list of places at first until I came across it online. Delmy, the venue manager was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She was not only informative about the venue but also helped out with ideas that were affordable for my budget. All of my guests expressed having the best time and being fortunate to have the beautiful view of the Capitol and the city. It was such a romantic and beautiful view. I got to take amazing pictures ! There was a lot of room and guests were able to dance and have fun. I recommend this place ! It is worth the view for your special day that you won’t forget.
Like all longtime residents of the DC metro area, we know how hard it can be to find wedding venues with great views of the city's most iconic monuments, memorials and buildings. So places like Capitol View at 400 that do give you a closeup look at DC's most famous landmarks are really something special. In the case of this venue, the name tells you everything you need to know. Perched on the top floor of a building a few blocks from the US Capitol, this location makes you feel like you could reach out and touch the famous dome. And the best part is that Capitol View at 400 also offers you so much more. The rooftop space can be covered or left open, meaning you can stay comfortable if the weather is bad or enjoy the fresh air if DC's climate cooperates. Definitely recommend this wedding venue!
We just had a fabulous wedding at this venue. The view is beautiful. They have a parking garage underneath the building and you do have to go through the lobby of the new stations to get to the reception spot but well worth it. We had around 100 people which fit the space perfectly. Delmy the venue coordinator is so wonderful to work with. The space offers multiple options for your cocktail hour set up. The restrooms are far from the space just something to be aware of. I would suggest making signs it is downstairs or have a designated person showing guests where to go (this was something our planning team did).
I HIGHLY recommend The Capitol View at 400 for your wedding day! You get so much more here than most DC venues. A longer day, a wider space, a spectacular view AND staff that go above and beyond to make your day incredibly special! It's the perfect location for a fine art DC wedding!
Was für ein erstaunlicher Veranstaltungsort für jede Art von Veranstaltung. Es fühlte sich an, als stünde man auf dem Deck eines Kreuzfahrtschiffs, mit dem wunderschönen schwarzen Hintergrund des Capitol im Hintergrund. Es war offen im Freien... es war wunderschön, aber als es zu nieseln begann, gab es eine schöne Überdachung, die dir dennoch ermöglichte, die schöne Aussicht zu genießen.
