The Cenacle on the Lake in Metairie bietet ein ruhiges Rückzugszentrum mit einer schönen Kapelle, freundlichem Personal, köstlichen Mahlzeiten und komfortablen Unterkünften. Gäste beschreiben es als eine Oase am See, ideal für Gruppen- oder Einzelexerzitien. Das Zentrum veranstaltet montags, dienstags und mittwochs eine Messe um 12 Uhr mittags und lädt Besucher ein, innezuhalten, nachzudenken und zurückzukehren.

The few times, I was blessed to go on a retreat here, it was amazing. I literally did not want to leave and come back to the real world. If I had the opportunity to go on a retreat every weekend, it would be here.
Very serene to gather in.The retreat center is very peaceful with the complete surroundings of a beautiful church within the community to share with its members and visitors. The religious staff is second to none.
I really do feel like you are walking on holy ground. As soon as you enter the gate such a piece and calmness comes over me. Beautiful chapel, facilities. I have gone on several retreats & the accommodations are great. The food is delicious. Cafeteria ladies and all the other staff are very friendly and inviting. The grounds or kept immaculate. It’s an oasis in the middle of a busy world. I wish I could go there more often. They do have 12 noon mass every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Great place for a group, large or small, retreat. Food was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommended. Booked up for months, so book early!
I was just here. This is a comfortable, clean, and hospitable place for retreat. The grounds looked nice, by the lake, but it was raining so I could not explore.
