My waiter stole my change! I went in and had a terrible experience, I hung out with a friend for the first time in 3 years looked up a place on TikTok and found common good. I reserved us a spot being I never been before and didn’t know how busy it would be. We were sat and out server was this taller guy with facial hair I didn’t catch his name unfortunately but he’s hard to miss. He was moving very fast pace the whole time he served us and noticed we were in very deep conversation and brought the bill on a little clipboard and 1 receipt that showed $52 and some change I only had large bills so I payed $100 in 2 50s. When he returned me my change it was 1 $5 bill and 2 $1 bills so it was $7. I was confused but was so hung up in my conversation I just though leave it as a tip how it was givin. He then brought boxes and made us feel like it’s time to leave by how he communicated taking the plates and dropping the boxes. I left the 7 on the clipboard and went on home. I than realized I should have gotten more change. I turned around and went back because that’s roughly $48 I was missing I spoke the managers and they showed me a receipt that said $33 dollars and I payed with visa and I was given a discount. I let both managers know I payed $100 in cash and they said they need to do an investigation on the waiter. (Ps I was not given a copy of my receipt when i originally paid, they sent me home and have not reached out) it’s not a lot of money although it’s the fact it wasn’t a big deal for them I’m writing this a week later upset and don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone from social media or even if you’re staying!
Ugh Dont waste your hard earned money!!! I wish I read reviews for most recent service before I went here but I thought the Gods were on my side! But now I’m warning my people! Food - $80 for two drinks, two brunch options The cooks - I’m not sure if they even have a legit cook as my “omelette” was definitely made in the microwave! look at this microwave egg situation in the picture!! You know who you are ! I beg oh, I plead!! Stop giving high ratings on google for non seasoned food please!!!! Jakob our server was awesome , great energy , If you need fast service the microwave works great! 🫠
Visited on a Sunday morning. No wait, but busy enough that the atmosphere was positive. Classic Eggs Benny was excellent. The menu changes frequently, so confirm on the website versus old photos. Definitely coming back.
I'm not going to lie, this place was better than I thought. The food was pretty perfect. The Shrimp & Grits is something i usually don't eat but i gave this restaurant a try and I'm happy i did! Nice menu, great staff, and very relaxing. I'll only recommend that they use a different method for the menus, the paper gets wet and looks terrible, sweep the place more periodically through the shifts and clean the window areas. Besides that, it's a hidden jewel.
The Food here was really amazing and satisfying. We ordered Falafel Pockets and Banana Pancakes along with cappuccinos. The food was so satisfying. Staffs were really very polite and humble .
