We have a large Swiss Shepherd called Noah who has experienced considerable trauma in his 4 years. He has made great strides with Callum, whom he loves, with regards to his ability to socialise with other dogs so we would highly recommend Callum to anyone with a problematic pooch.

I have used Callum’s behavioural services twice for my dog Lily who is movement and dog reactive. He was amazing with her and understood her personality within minutes of her. When it comes to his guidance on what to do to help the dogs, he lets the owner do the tasks so they can see for themselves that they can do it and that their dog will listen to them. Lily has made great progress since Callum has came in to help us and he has helped to rebuild my trust in her after she went for a dog after she was attacked by another dog. His knowledge of dogs and their behaviour is admirable and it is clear that dog training isn’t just a job for him, he truly loves dogs and wants them to be at their best so they can live happy lives.

Great consultation with Callum from The Dog Life. He listened to everything and didn't rush. The tips and training for our first session were excellent and we are already incorporating these on a daily basis. This has made both my dog and myself calmer on our walks. Experience has been exceptional. My 4 year old terrier/poodle has improved dramatically since we saw Callum. Her behaviour towards other dogs was very challenging and resulted in us both being very tense during and after walks. Seeing dogs on tv saw her barking uncontrollably and her general obedience was poor. One visit from Callum and all that has changed. I can walk her anywhere with little to no problem. No barking at tv. General obedience is night and day. He taught me to be in control of all situations. She has relaxed considerably. All of her anxiety has melted away. I’ve had to work at it but well worth it as is the price. I’ll be forever grateful

Callum was absolutely fantastic with our very hyperactive young Belgian Malinois x GSD, who had some issues with lead reactivity and over excitement. After our session with Callum she is doing so great, the things we were taught are making such a big difference to her already, and have even had a huge positive impact on other non ideal behaviours throughout her daily routine. With Callum’s methods we are now at the point of almost no barking or reacting at all on the lead, and a much calmer time passing dogs and people in areas where we would have had a hard time previously. Definitely recommend The Dog Life for training and understanding dog behaviour in order to make the changes required to see real results.
