Amado was absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend him enough. Our dog Jax showed incredible improvement after his two-week board and train. Honestly, more progress than we expected. Amado didn’t just stop there; he’s come out for two in-home lessons and has always been patient, thorough, and happy to answer any questions we had. He also recommended community classes and gave us a variety of tools and approaches to help Jax continue improving long-term. You can truly tell he cares about both the dogs and their owners. We’re so grateful for everything he’s done for Jax and our family.

Jeremy did an awesome job with Shadow. Until Shadow's first day he lived outside all alone and the only interaction he had was to be fed once a day. I asked the folks that owned him if I could have him and they said yes and today he graduated from The Dog Wizard and is doing really good and has manners and just is happy and Tge Dog Wizard got us off on the right foot. They keep you updated with videos and texts and again are the place you need to take you pup to for training and socializing. Ask for Jeremy he will make you proud and Dog a well trained partner for life.

Ended up adopting a foster puppy and do not have the knowledge on how to train her. Am so glad I decided to bring her to The Dog Wizard. All of the staff are extremely kind and really care about the dogs. Everyone knew her and happily greeted her each morning. We decided to go with the 14 days of day training, which was a great fit. Jeremy was Nala’s trainer, and I couldn’t say enough good things about the effectiveness of his work. Not only does he teach the dog, but the owner as well. The program was great, and worked so well for us. Thank you everyone at The Dog Wizard, we truly appreciate you!

My dog was jumping excessively on anyone who came into the house and also not controllable on walks when he saw other dogs, bunnies, squirrel, etc. He was also somewhat aggressively resource guarding against my other dog at times. Sometimes I was the resource, sometimes it was a bone or toy). Now he responds to commands well and we are able to control his excitement. He is walking well and no longer jumping/pulling. If he does, a small correction is all it takes to reset him. Several visitors have commented that he is like a different dog! Amado was very very patient with our dog and with us as well. The daily videos made us cry and the outings to Michaels, Home Depot and Hyde Park made us smile big! The onsite visits helped and the home visit helped even more because he could observe the interactions with our other dog and give us guidance and advice. We are extremely thankful for the peace that training has brought to our house! Thank you, Amado, and The Dog Wizard!

Duke had a great experience with his training. The staff is so friendly and our trainer was so patient with me. We have graduated and now get to enjoy extra support with weekend sessions they provide. I have trouble with coordination of the leash vs the turns vs the dog and was taught other methods to help get my boy to work with me. I was nervous at first paying for lessons but it was one of the best investments I could have made for my boy!
