The drawing studio is an invaluable resource for the Tucson community, fostering creativity and connection among its members. I particularly appreciate their commitment to inclusivity, and their wide range of classes that cater to artists of all backgrounds. Their generosity shines through in various community outreach programs and scholarships. One of the highlights of the year is their Juneteenth celebration, a truly inspiring event that brings together artists and community members to honor culture and creativity through art.
Great place with a huge number of art classes. I've been thrilled by the learning opportunities here. Bonus, art exhibitions with fantastic art.
I can’t say enough good things about The Drawing Studio! I recently placed an order for a gift certificate, and not only did they accommodate it seamlessly, but Anthony went above and beyond—while on vacation! He personally ensured everything was taken care of and even delivered the gift himself. That level of dedication and customer care is truly rare. The Drawing Studio isn’t just a place to learn art—it’s a place run by passionate, thoughtful people who genuinely care about their community. Thank you, Anthony and team, for making this such a special experience. Highly recommend!
Our hopes were dashed this morning. While dropping off my granddaughter for a 2 week summer camp that I committed $700 dollars to I wanted to let someone know that my granddaughter just got braces and asked in very good faith if she could let me know what the snacks for the day would be. The Executive Director apparently took offense to my question because she barked back:”She’ll either eat it or she won’t!” But wouldn’t tell me what the snacks were. Then when I was trying to explain that I was just curious she said:”I’ve got to get back to work!” But she didn’t go back to work. She wanted to continue the altercation. It was obvious something was bothering her before we even got there and she was taking it out on us. My daughter and I felt that my granddaughter would not be safe in that environment so we pulled her out. It makes me so sad that people in charge of programs are so reactive and that now my granddaughter will be left out of what may have been a good experience save for the altercation with the Executive Director.
