The Family Playhouse in North East Mall ist ein ganztägiges, eingezäuntes Spielzentrum in Hurst, in dem Kinder separate Bereiche für Kleinkinder und größere Kinder, einen Basketballbereich, eine Zipline, eine aufblasbare Arena und mehr erkunden können. I bring my toddler here often. He really enjoys it. You do need non slip socks which they sell or you can bring your own. My only issue is that we also have a baby. They have a sign that says to use the family restroom but they don't have one. They tell you to go down to JC Penney to use theirs which, I cannot leave my 3 year old alone to walk down to another store to change a diaper.
I have read some of these reviews, and I am amazed by some of the posts. This place is very well communicative. It is posted everywhere that they are not responsible for your children. Someone posted on here that they didn’t like the fact that they couldn’t leave their three year-old by themselves. First of all, who does that? Would you leave your kid at a trampoline park by themselves? This place has a basketball area to play, a blown up soccer field, zip line, and a whole bunch of other areas And things to do. They even have a toddler room that is for two and under only. Yes, this place has lockers. They have lots of lockers. They even have lockers behind the counter for people that don’t trust the Lockers that are out in the open. The only downfall to this place is not having a restroom, but it’s not their fault. When the mall was built, they just didn’t build them a restroom for the public. Their restroom is actually in the storage area, which no one would want you going into their storage area. So you have to walk next-door to JCPenney‘s or go to the food court. This is a wonderful place to take your kids to have fun. If you ever take your kids there and see that they won’t let someone out of the gated Play area it’s because either a parent went to the restroom or they won’t let young toddlers leave the area without the parent. I give this place five stars because all of the rules are right there in your face everywhere. They make sure that the kids are safe by making you have nonslip socks from toe to heal not to make money, but for safety reasons. They also don’t allow food and drinks or toys inside of the play areas which is common sense why not. Most kids have a lot of fun there may not be a place for autistic children because it’s very loud and noisy unless you take them early on a weekday. I know some people complain about the prices on here, but it’s well worth it because it is for all day play. You can get up and leave and go shopping and come back as long as they have their nonslip socks and bracelet they can get back in. Actually, it’s Prices are competitive with everyone else’s. They also do parties here and it’s reasonably priced. Just be careful if you want to book a character for your party. Some of the costumes are wonderful and some are not. We have had two birthday parties there and Bluey was a great costume But my cousin had Woody and I would not recommend that one. I did not leave a tip for my host because I didn’t know that It was a thing, but my cousin left one. So if you like your host and believe in tipping, then you can always leave them a tip and it goes to them. Hope this helps.
Always clean and very fun! They are very strict on the rules. I would give 5 stars if feeding my infant by bottle inside the play space was permitted.
Great experience! Our nephew and his friends all had so much fun! Bluey made an appearance! Such a great time! Wonderful place to host birthday parties for kids! Do not forget you socks!
First time visiting, and was very impressed! I wanted to make sure to leave a review because I don't think this place gets as much credit as it should. The space is so clean! I love that the entire play space is closed in with gates, and that the toddler area is separated from the big kid area. As a mom of twin toddlers I really appreciate that! We enjoyed all of the spaces, and felt like we didn't even touch everything we could have. With two toddlers and two adults we spent $19 and that gives access for all day. We'll be back!
