LOVE this store, or as I lovingly refer to it, “my other closet”. The clothes are beautiful, the staff is amazing and I know that I am purchasing things that make a difference in the world. I have shopped here for over a decade - since it was a fashion truck full of ethically made clothing and accessories - spoiler alert, that’s how it started - and it is still rooted in ensuring that products come from companies who treat their workers with dignity and give back in some way. There is something about walking into a place where you know you will be cared for, seen and heard - the staff and owner of Flourish do just that. Hands down my favorite store in the Triangle!
I've been a customer here since the store was in its original location almost 10 years ago. Em and her team are thoughtful about curating clothing and gifts that have meaning and are made responsibly, and they're serious about uplifting and empowering women in the community. It's truly personal: my wedding got cancelled in 2020 at the very beginning of COVID and once the Flourish team found out, they dropped flowers off on my doorstep. Flourish is so special!
Really wonderful shop with intentionally selected items. They do a good job covering a range of prices, and occasions. The team is always super friendly, and even offer beverages (sparkling water, or on weekends a fun light mocktail/cocktail). They have women's clothing items, in XS to 3X, and are regularly working in pulling in pieces that are staples, classic, or a bit trendy but will still be relevant a several years down the line. The kids section has the best kids books! They also have wonderful gifts for adults and pets too. The clean beauty bar is fantastic, and the items they carry are the best performing clean beauty items. Overall, it's a beautiful shop with thoughtfully curated items that will keep you covered for a variety of outfit needs or gifting situations! Couldn't recommend this store more, especially if you are in the Iron Works area! P. S. There's always parking in the free parking deck, or overflow parking lot just across the street from the shop.
Love the vibe of the store and cute things. A slightly odd experience in that there was a piece of jewelry I was interested in and it didn’t have a price tag . The lady working was very nice but did not know what to do and didn’t want to sell it without a confirmed price - she said she’d try to find out and I could come back. Usually people just scan something similar but I guess being a smaller shop they are more careful. Anyway maybe I’ll get over that way again sometime.
