My daughter's Pre-K Program decided to make this the place where they hosted her family dance. It was really nice inside. My only issue was that it was soooooo hot in there with only one fan. I mean it's originally a glass factory, I just don't think it was a great place to host a kids dance. I don't quite like the area that it is in either. Maybe I'm just being a little too picky but my other older kids did not feel comfortable in the area. The parking was pretty crowded as well. Other than that, it was fun for my Pre-K student.

I went expecting something cool — but what I got was absolutely next-level. Right from the start, the energy in the room was electric. The vibe is a modern twist on a glamorous speakeasy, but this isn’t just about sipping cocktails and listening to jazz in the background. This show pulls you right into the heart of the action — performers are everywhere around you, and it’s impossible to look away. And let’s talk about the fire acts — wow. They’ve seriously turned up the heat this year, literally and figuratively. Between a Fire Aerialist who seemed to defy gravity, a Guinness World Record holder showing off insane skills, and a Cirque du Soleil performer adding jaw-dropping moments, it felt like every few minutes, something new was making me gasp or cheer. The costumes were dazzling, the live band was incredible, and the dancers and vocalists kept the energy high the entire time. It’s edgy, glamorous, a little bit wild — and completely unforgettable. At about 90 minutes, the show moves fast and never once drags. You’re constantly surrounded by the magic — it’s a full 360-degree experience that really makes you feel part of the underground world they’ve created. If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville and want a night that’s sexy, bold, and completely unique, don’t miss this show. The Velvet Underground delivers a sensory explosion you won’t stop talking about.
We just had our wedding here this past weekend and I am obsessed with the space still. It was a little hot, but it’s a giant warehouse venue in Florida, we were drinking and dancing and it was 75 outside, so honestly, that was expected. The owners were so nice and accommodating to our vendors and answered anything we needed. Thank you!
LOVED getting to shoot this romantic session at The Glass Factory! Clay was super easy to talk to, and provided an experience that was tailored to meet our needs. The blank canvas aspect really allowed us to get creative, and we had WAY too much fun exploring this venue! This is the perfect space for couples who are going for a historic/industrial vibe.
If you’re looking for a unique event space at a great value please book The Glass Factory! The manager, Clay, is super friendly, helpful and supportive in ensuring your event goes seamlessly. We had our wedding here last month and he answered all of our questions, allowed us to visit the venue numerous times and provided great advice/recommendations that made our day amazing. I enjoyed the flexibility of using vendors of my choice that allowed us to make the big, beautiful space our own. If you’re having an event here, you’ll need to hire professional parking staff. We felt safe the entire time and had no complaints for our 250+ guests. We highly recommend The Glass Factory!
