My first professional hair cut in 10+ years, and I absolutly love it! Haedyn was my stylist and did a fantastic job. She was very thorough with measuring the length to donate, and then went through shaping and giving me long layers. She was very attentive on final shape, making sure the layers didnt thin out my hair on the sides and how much face framing pieces I wanted. She finished my hair with a blow dry and curl which came out beautiful. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted, I love it and can't stop tell myself how pretty it is!
The moment I walked into Iron Rose I felt comfortable and happy. The eclectic atmosphere and decor is unmatched! You can tell that the owner puts thought and energy into every detail to make the salon look and feel like a whole vibe. I’ve been to many salons, and most of the time they are boring and I am just staring into a mirror of myself with a bunch of white sterile walls around me that hurt my eyes. Not here! There are incredible murals painted on every wall and the ceiling. All by local artists, which I appreciate seeing this local business support local art. In addition to the colorful murals, there are vintage and antique collectibles scattered throughout the place that piqued my interest. I noticed that the salon is also teeming with gorgeous healthy plants, adding to the lively environment of the upbeat and vibrant stylist in the space. Misty was my stylist, I was in just for a shag haircut. She washed my hair and gave me a nice scalp and shoulder massage. After the cut she styled my hair. It was amazing. She was efficient and friendly. We talked about the vintage collectibles, plants and murals. I now have a standing appointment with her. If you enjoy subculture and something different. You should definitely check out Iron Rose.
This salon has such a warm and vibrant atmosphere. You are surrounded with smiles when you walk in! Everyone seems so sweet! Myra is AMAZING! Every time I go she does such an amazing job! She is so talented and sweet! Always recommend her when people ask where I have gotten my hair done.
I had Jen as my stylist and she did an absolutely amazing job. I got a calico style hair dye, and i'm absolutely in love with it !! the salon vibe in general is wonderful and super friendly too!!!
Misty started my dreadlock journey two years ago. This was a huge step that I was so nervous about, but she helped tremendously with that anxiety. The whole staff made the experience fun and relaxing. My locks have matured so well. Misty is the only loctician I will trust for maintenance. The salon is always clean, with a great atmosphere, and welcoming staff. I look forward to each appointment. The art and creative aspect of Iron Rose Salon is an unmatched vibe.
