I came across this store for the first time while searching for a juice/smoothie store. The taller, blonde-haired lady was not warm and welcoming. She seemed cold-spirited and annoyed. I purchased a belt that was in good shape but had visible scratches on the gold metal logo buckle. At $495 (excluding tax), I was advised that the belt was priced correctly since retail is priced at around $650. Upon purchasing the belt, I went to my vehicle and found the same belt (and same color) at a well-known reputable luxury reseller for $311.50 and in pristine condition. My advice, shop around. There are way better consignment stores with a larger and better selection of luxury items and goods and many with better pricing. I noticed a sign in this store that’s states all sales are final so I’m sure I’m not able to negotiate the price because of this reason. That stated, I’ll most likely not come back or recommend this store.

I wanted to consign at this store because from the website, it looked like they consigned nicer items. They definitely have some nice things in there when I scanned the store. The items I brought in for consignment were practically brand new and really good quality. However, no one mentioned to me on the phone, when I made an appointment that they only take certain high-end designer brands. This is a key bit of information, especially when traveling from 35 minutes away, such as myself. I was asked if I was told to check the website for a list of brands they take, etc.- I was not. I did read other comments about the attitude of the workers. There was only one woman in there and she did talk to me like I was stupid and had a snobby tone so, I believe the other, previous reviews. There is just no need for it. If I ever decide to consign my Gucci’s, I’ll steer clear of The Little Bird.

I absolutely adore the little bird- both as a consignor and a shopper! The store is immaculate and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite thing about the store, though, is the beautiful and diverse aaaortment. It feels like shopping in a high end boutique, except there’s only one of each item so it’s even more special. I have gotten so many, unique, beautiful pieces here to add to my closet. It’s also easy to consign with them, payments are made reliably and you can use your earnings as store credit or have a check mailed to you if you choose. They also have a boutique in aspen so sometimes they will move items between the two boutiques auto keep assortment fresh or give a piece more exposure and they’re always adding new items. Cannot say enough good things!

Cute pieces, however the staff was extremely rude and snooty. They talk to you like you’re stupid. I understand they want to go home, but why are you putting your pieces away before 6 and still have customers? I will definitely be spreading the word not to come here. Very disappointed.

Die Stücke hier sind schön. Es fühlt sich nicht so an, als würden Sie gebrauchte Stücke kaufen. Die meisten Artikel sind von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Die Preise sind etwas höher als bei einem anderen Secondhand-Laden, den ich regelmäßig besuche. Was das angeht, sind die Damen, die hier arbeiten, nicht besonders freundlich. Sie werfen dir einen Blick zu, wenn du hereinkommst (ich war in Trainingskleidung gekleidet), und als du gefragt hast, ob es eine Toilette gibt, antwortete sie mit einem unangenehmen Gesicht und sagte, sie lasse die Leute nicht in den Hinterraum. Ich verstehe es völlig, aber es wäre in Ordnung gewesen, einfach 'leider nein' zu sagen, ohne das unangenehme Gesicht. Ich bevorzuge immer noch couture blowout; der Besitzer ist viel netter. Die Stücke hier sind schöner und die Anordnung ist besser, aber die Mädchen, die hier arbeiten, machen das Einkaufserlebnis einfach weniger wünschenswert.
