Nice facility but: The audience was all complaining it was too hot. Everyone was fanning themselves. There was only 1 bar tender most of the time and lines were unnecessarily long, that was not fair. No food available. Very poor selection of beers, and mostly bad ones. And finally whoever the sound tech is needs training. Nobody on the balcony could hear a word. Dialogue was muffled and muted. Music had only bass, no mids or highend. It was unintelligible and very distracting. Do you not go around the venue and listen during sound check? Just awful. But the room is really pretty.

Went to see Home Alone on Sunday the 7th. The buffet was terrible, the Ceasar salad was swimming in salad dressing you couldn't even eat it, the mash potatoes were so thick you had to bang it on the side to get it off to get the portion you wanted, even then you're shaking it to put on your plate, the meatballs where very spicy, the winter vegetables were terrible, don't know what spices they used, could hardly eat them, the macaroni and cheese, let's say Kraft dinner tastes better, the dressing was heavy and had no flavor and turkey was very bland. I ate only half my dinner and could not eat anymore. The only items that were "good" were the buns, fresh salad, cranberry sauce and the cheese pizza. Very, very disappointed especially with the price we paid and from what we have experienced in previous years.

This venue is truly wonderful for hosting family gatherings. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making everyone feel at home. Ample space ensures comfort for all attendees, regardless of the group size. Their attentive staff provides excellent service, adding to the overall positive experience. It's a perfect setting to create lasting memories with loved ones.

Rooftop patio is perfect for lunch in the summer. After a few visits I was not overly impressed with the food but the prices are good. The butternut squash salad surprisingly contains no distinguishable pieces of squash. It was tasty still but would not order again, and for a main salad it is not very big. The bacon Gouda cheeseburger also doesn't contain any actual bacon (??) - you have to order it separately, and is an extra charge. The steak sandwich is quite tasty and the fries are good and portion size generous. Service seems to be always slow which is not good for business lunch crowd but fine for a leisurely lunch or dinner. Servers always super nice. The Met function/dining room is great for large events, and has a dance floor, stage, and bar. The banquet food was very good.

We have done a few weddings, birthdays and Gala’s at The Met. Every event we have done the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive to the guests. The food is always fantastic! They go above and beyond in helping a vendor like us with set-up and take down. I highly recommend!!
