I would not recommend ordering online. I’m still waiting on 2 of 3 items from an order placed in November 2025. Almost 10 weeks later, there have been no updates or communication. Delays happen, but silence like this is unreasonable. UPDATE: As noted on your website, the brand I ordered (HAY) can take 6–10 weeks. However, my email requesting an order update still has not received a response, while this review was answered promptly which clearly reflects where your company’s priorities lie.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. I’m out almost $2,000 for two chairs that I purchased online in September 2025. It’s now late January and I still don’t have them. Their responses are generic and simply link you to their no refund policy. I’ve asked for a refund 2x and been turned down. I have never (or at least can’t remember) experienced such bad customer service and lack of accountability to paying customers. At this stage I want my money back and to move on. They will not entertain this request and can’t even advise now, almost 4 months after I paid in full, when the chairs will arrive. NEVER again. So frustrating and unacceptable. I agree with another review - makes you feel better about ordering from global and larger businesses with proven customer care.
Great place to shop from for well designed home decor. Love that we have a place like this in Canada rather than having to go shop online in international stores. The staff were super responsive when I had a minor issue with my order and resolved it quickly. And everything I've received from them was just as expected. Just keep in mind that shipping times for stuff from them can be long but they do make that clear on their site.
I ordered a diffuser in September and followed up multiple times for an ETA. Each time, I was told it would arrive within 4–6 weeks. After my most recent follow-up, I was finally informed that the item is no longer available. This should have been communicated upfront. The lack of proactive communication and accountability reflects very poor customer service.
Edit to reply: 1. I wasn’t insinuating that you took my money, I was saying you cancelled my order 2. I requested an exception to your return policy so that IN CASE I receive the item after Christmas, I can return it since I would have to get another gift and my partner (the receiver) would not end up with no presents on Christmas, and I would not end up doubling my gift budget. Maybe if you properly read the messages instead of hopping on defence, Michael, you would’ve realized that. You need help lol what kind of business owner speaks to customers this way. Dropping to 2 stars, management here is absolutely out of their minds Giving this company 3 stars because (1) the storefront is lovely and the in-store staff are genuinely kind, and (2) this experience has removed any guilt I had about choosing large retailers over small businesses as this one proves small isn’t automatically better. The way this business responds to customer reviews is concerning. Valid complaints are met with defensiveness and condescension. Had I seen these responses earlier, I would not have placed an order online. Yes, times are tough, but they’re tough for everyone and customers choosing to support a small Canadian business deserve respect. If this company cannot fulfill orders within a reasonable timeframe, it should not offer shipping or promise specific pickup timelines. At minimum, backorders and delays should be clearly disclosed before checkout. I ordered warehouse pickup after being told items are “usually ready within 24 hours.” 3 weeks had gone by and no updates, except for the fact that I had gone into the store and they reassured me I would receive my order by Christmas. After receiving no replies via email, I asked via Instagram DM whether I could return it for a refund if it arrived after Christmas JUST IN CASE. After some back and forth, my order was cancelled outright without explanation or even a courtesy email. I suppose I did get my money back, but cancelling my order after requesting the OPTION for a refund in case it came after Christmas is insane. With no explanation. Yes I blocked you on IG because did not want anymore back and forth, but you have my email if you wanted to reach out. Being a small business does not exempt a company from meeting basic customer service standards. If capacity is an issue, services and timelines should be adjusted accordingly. Based on past responses, I expect a defensive reply, but I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve.
