Gelegen in 921 Washington St, Oakland, bietet das Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment - (The MADE) einen praxisnahen Einblick in die Geschichte der Videospiele. Besucher können auf Original-Hardware spielen — von NES und Original‑iMacs bis Dreamcast, PS3, Xbox 360 und Wii U — auf CRT-Fernsehern, auf denen viele Spiele vorinstalliert sind. Der Raum ist barrierefrei zugänglich und wird von leidenschaftlichen Teammitgliedern betreut, darunter der Geschäftsführende Direktor Mason. Mit BART gut erreichbar (in der Nähe von 12th & Broadway) und in der Nähe gibt es eine Food Hall.

Great place Very Wheelchair Accessible, with TONS of Games with Original Hardware from the NES and OG iMacs to Dreamcast, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. All on CRT TVs!! Consoles are Modded to have TONS of games Installed WITHOUT needing to use Discs
Ive been to the old location several times, and even it was bigger, the new location is 10000000 times more convenient. and theres a cute girl who works there. I called her "Madam" and it seemed to spark a funny conversation. we played awesome games and very very bad games and it was super fun. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ON THE WALLS.
Amazing place and a great price to boot with as many ins and outs for a day. If you’re looking for a way to kill a day off and just want to play video games, especially classic games, this is the best. I played StarCraft 1 for like 3 hours and it was a great feeling
This place is tremendous and a MUST for anyone who is remotely interested in video games. Brought my 11 year old son here and we spent a WHOLE afternoon learning about the games and playing them. Mason, the Executive Director, is passionate about the history and design of the games. He was available for all questions throughout our visit and helped us a ton. He even led my son through a mini coding session on an Atari computer! This place is super accessible by BART (only a 5 min walk from the 12th & Broadway station) AND there is a delicious food hall next door. A+ (I would also recommend going on a W or TH, when it is less crowded).
This place is awesome! So many consoles and games that you can play. The staff are friendly and clearly very passionate about gaming and its history. The perfect place to hang out with the gaming buddies for the whole day. I wish there was a place like this in Chicago.
