One of my favourite places for brunch in Bristol. It's a lovely warm setting that makes it easy to dwell, lounge around and enjoy. Their food menu is always on point. And whatever pastries they have, they're always fresh and fantastic. They had a spiced rum and orange amaretti biscuit the other day which was so wonderfully moorish to go with my coffee. We ordered the pork belly on toast and the lamb kofta. Both were fantastic. The dishes they have always balance different flavours wonderfully. I would say the only downside is that the space is quite echoey so does get quite noisy. And with most of the brunching demographic in St George, there are a lot of parents with buggies. A crying child does sound quite a bit louder in this place. But it's ultimately not a deterrent and it's also a dog friendly space which is great.
A great place to chill. Had the fried chicken pancakes. A great savoury treat. Not much chicken there though and the pancakes were a bit soggy but it scored high on flavour. Would defo go and eat again! On my second visit I got the lamb kofte dish. The 2 small koftes (2?!) served on the dish and the 4 smashed baby potatoes did not justify the £13.50 of the dish and I did share my thoughts about that with one of the staff when they asked me how my food was. However the food was delicious but I was sad there was not more of it for the price advertised. Staff offered me alternatives as compensation and I did appreciate the gesture.
Myself and my husband had our Wedding reception here back in August and it was the perfect spot for us, it was big enough to not feel cramped but also not too big that you have to walk lots to get around everyone 😊 The food was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend the cold buffet and pizzas, no one left hungry which is what we aimed for. They also made our Wedding cake for us and it was stunning, exactly how I'd wanted it. The team got the room set up beautifully for us too, my partner had dropped some things off to help decorate the room and tables and it was all done lovely 🥰 Bar staff did a great job of keeping the drinks flowing 👏 👍
I really enjoyed the Orchard and co and the atmosphere was lovely. Very welcoming, polite and friendly! Ella is the girl in the picture upstairs their. I met a friend theere called Ollie who enjoyed an excellent Mocha coffee! Highly recommended!!!!
A great spot for brunch! The café is spacious with beautifully designed interiors. I had the Royale Stack, and the portion was satisfying. The dish was well-seasoned and balanced with some fresh greens. The pancakes were soft with a slight chew, and had a lovely milky flavor. Really enjoyed both the food and the coffee!
