The first time I did The Rocks tour, I was in grade 5 or 6 at Ashfield public school. I remember being amazed. Now at the age of 51, I came back for a refresher and continue to be amazed about this little preserved area of Sydney’s beginnings. Stan was our tour guide. You could tell this guy was a proud Aussie and eager to share a bit of Australian history. A great narrator and story teller. Guys, if your tour guide did a great job, give a tip at the end. I highly recommend The Rocks Walking Tours. They did a great job.
The best walking tour! I was able to do a historic walking tour on The Rocks with Jon, who was the most amazing and humorous guide I have ever had! That was the best history lesson in practice, with lots of interesting stories, jokes and details. In the end we made over two hours instead of 90 minutes and nobody wanted to leave! I can highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely return and do it again!

We did The Rocks Walking Tour and absolutely loved it! Our guide Judith was fantastic – super knowledgeable, funny, and made the history of Sydney come alive. She had so many great stories and pointed out little details we never would have noticed on our own. The walk was really well paced, with plenty of time to take photos and ask questions. You can tell how much care and effort goes into the tour – a big shoutout to Michael, the owner, who clearly puts his heart into making this such a great experience. If you’re in Sydney, don’t miss it – even locals would discover something new!
We had just arrived in Sydney and wanted to checkout the neighborhood near our hotel and the harbor. The weather was in and out of rain and we decided at the last minute to go for the rocks tour. It was an excellent introduction to the history of the neighborhood since colonial times. Vickie our guide was excellent had tons of info and loved to take questions. She even extended the tour a bit because she took the time to answer everyone’s queries. Highly recommend.
