Celebrating 75 years this year, came as a birthday treat first time I have been in years, normally watch on TV nothing like watching live, it's a must if you are in or visiting Edinburgh it will not disappoint, some performances have flyovers but this year fireworks replaced with drones 10/10

WOW…..attended a spectacular show at the 75th Annual Military Tattoo which runs for 3 weeks on the month of August. It is a phenominal show that brings together the best of the British Military and international performances from a global the world. The Pyrotechnic special effects were amazing and the performers were top notch. This show also had the US Military performing. The bagpipers were outstanding…highly recommend when in Scotland.

Absolutely unforgettable experience. We stood in the VIP area with a perfect view of the show—breathtaking from start to finish. The dinner beforehand was amazing, with excellent service and delicious food. Everything was well-organized and smooth. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Scotland—it’s a must-see. The combination of atmosphere, music, and performance made it a night to remember.

Attending the Royal Military Tattoo Thursday 31st July 2025 at Edinburgh Castle was nothing short of extraordinary. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the historic castle, the entire evening was a powerful blend of precision, pageantry, and pure emotion. Entry was smooth with pre-booked tickets, fast track entry for prime tickets. Innis and gunn, Land Rover Pentland and few more sponsors. (Please do not forget proper jacket to beat the cold weather during the show) From the thunderous drumbeats to the haunting melodies of the massed pipes and drums, every moment was perfectly choreographed and deeply moving. Performers from across the globe brought their own cultural flair, yet everything was unified by a shared spirit of excellence and celebration. English, Scottish, Swiss, Ukrainian, Polish military band with officials and US Navy officials gun parade with no music was breathtaking. There was locals support and spotlight for former military officials. The lighting, projections, and fireworks added a magical touch, transforming the castle esplanade into a stage unlike any other. The finale – with the lone piper standing silhouetted atop the castle walls – was spine-tingling and emotional, a moment that will stay with me forever. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning fan, the 2025 Tattoo delivers on every level – it’s a stirring tribute to tradition, unity, and human artistry. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. At the end of the show lighting on the Edinburgh castle was designed extraordinarily, display of hero’s with names, light fireworks and drones display of 75 years, royal tattoo, military logo. After the show exit was smooth with security officials, police. Volunteers and announcements. Local buses were a little crowded however frequency was high at that time.
