I stopped by for screen saver/protector replacement under my existing plan and I received expedient service with a smile. I really appreciate the help I needed with my phone cover. The clerk is to be commended for a job well done.

I saw a listing on Facebook Marketplace from Jeff for an iPad at the center, then decided to come in the store to look at other options. Reko was there and assisted us to find what we needed, was honest with us, and helped us with every question we had! No matter how small! He also did not “salesman hover” while we were looking. It was a very pleasant experience. Reko was extremely helpful and friendly! Great experience overall! The product is great and I am sure I will be back for future purchases!

I was ready to walk away and just forget about this, but then I got a text message begging for a 5 star review. Just no. This place is sketchy and the "techs" are dishonest. I went in yesterday to have the protective glass over my cell phone camera lenses replaced. Two were cracked, one slightly chipped. I return after about 90 minutes. The guy tells me that after he fixed my phone, the camera didn't focus correctly and he was going "throw in a new camera for free". I asked to see what he meant. The camera damaged was the one that didn't have a cracked protector. I asked him directly if he damaged it during the replacement and he sheepishly admitted that he did. Why not just be upfront you made a mistake and will try to make it right? The gaslighting to make it sounds like he's doing me a favor by repairing what he broke on my phone was a nice touch. Another hour to get the camera replaced and there's still dust under the glass. I refused to let these clowns open my phone again. Yes, the other person working gave me a screen protector and discounted the repair. But I didn't want my phone opened up at all. And I certainly didn't expect to be misled over the reason for the camera replacement. Needing to clean up the smeared glue/adhesive when I got home added insult to injury. Anyway, there ya have it. Obviously, I can't recommend.

I have used The Smartphone Medics several times related to my cell phones, but an incident that took place last Thursday (01/15/2026) will make me think twice about doing that in the future. My father-in-law's phone (I-Phone) was having problems charging, so I took it in there to confirm if it was a bad cord (which I suspected) or if there was a real problem with the phone. He also told me that if he jiggled the cord it would start charging, which meant there was a possibility that the charging port was damaged. When I got to the store, I handed the phone to a technician who after listening to what I had to say said that the charging port could be dirty and he would put it under the microscope to check. When he came back 2 to 3 minutes later, he said it was a little dirty and that was the problem (I am unsure if he cleaned it or not). Anyway, we had no price quote before he did this, so I asked what we owed him. NOTE: I was not looking for free service, and was prepared to pay 5 or 10 dollars for his time. What we were not prepared for was a bill for 50 dollars for basically three minutes work. I guess we should have asked what the charge was going to be in advance, because we would have walked out had we known it was going to be that pricey. My father-in-law is spitting mad and believes he was taken advantage of, so you won't be seeing him back in there. In closing, some advance warning of the charges would have been helpful as we would have just left and dealt with the problem on our own.

My cell phone battery started glitching, and then I noticed the back cover separating. The battery was swelling (Note: don't leave your cellphone on the edge of the counter where it could fall into the dog's water bowl). I was afraid I'd have to get a new phone, but I brought it here, hoping they could fix it. And they did! They had a replacement battery in stock, and were able to re-seal the back cover (it hadn't been damaged too much yet). It might sound small, but I'm grateful they got it working again. The staff was also super professional and personable.
