I recently did hair and make up for a bride at this venue . The bridal suite is a make up artist dream. They have actual salon chairs, incredible lighting, and a big comfy space with extra tables for your items… I honestly could’ve gotten away with not bringing my own lighting chair or tray . I have done hundreds of weddings all over the country and this was by far the best most thought out bridal suite. The temperature was perfect ( Let’s be honest girls. Those bridal sweets are always ridiculously hot.) . The amenities were perfect, and the staff was amazing. I hope I have the opportunity to work here again. If your bride reading this. Please also know that they have several different rooms and spaces to where you could have a large or a small ceremony. The outside is beautiful. The inside is beautiful. the vibe is beautiful

We had our Christmas wedding at Oak Place and it was perfect. The variety of rooms was great for transitioning through the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner (we had a small wedding with a sit down dinner). It is the perfect backdrop for decorations and pictures.

As a wedding and event planner - Oak Place has proven to be an ideal setting for so many different events - especially for the classic southern estate wedding. With it's proximity to downtown Huntsville, it's location lends itself to convenience for guests and ease of access to local attractions. The venue itself is a stunning piece of local history restored with such great care and is constantly being improved. The Oak Place staff is exceptional, extremely accommodating and we thoroughly enjoy working with them. This venue is destined to be one of the premier venues in Huntsville and we are excited to have our clients weddings and events hosted at Oak Place!

I attended the Annual Holiday Open House, and we also held the Huntsville Margarita Society Holiday Party here. Great venue combining beauty with a solid historical legacy. The staff is easy to work with and can flex to accommodate just about anything. Between the beauty and legacy of Oak Place, and the great staff, The Venue is hard to beat!

STUNNING VENUE! I previously worked with Lauren at Oak Place to shoot a bridal session for a lovely Huntsville bride! You cannot go wrong with using Oak Place as a backdrop for your wedding or portrait sessions. Absolutely stunning at every turn. It is a photographer’s dream, and I can’t wait for the shoot we are planning for this spring!
