Any place that has a resident cat named Kitty, 2 beautiful green parakeets named Dougie and Frannie, and a full-size statue of Carrie Nation outside the front door gets my gold star!⭐ This store has so much - souvenirs, t-shirts, art, but also clothes, clearance, gifts! The 2 young ladies who were manning the store were friendly but not intrusive. A definite 'must-visit' whether you are visiting or live in Wichita!
Wide and beautiful selection of bespoke products, beautiful gifts, and art from local artists. Staff were so friendly, the store was clean and vibrant. 10/10
This is a “must see” fun spot to spend some time while downtown! You can shop local and get everything from plants, clothes, local items!! Stop by “Bubbles” and try out their fun drink concoctions and try their delicious deserts! I just love seeing our old beautiful buildings being brought back to life!! Love this!
Wichita’s finest gift shop of local artists and creators, at the corner of Cleveland and 1st Street North. Here is a huge array of art and collectibles that represents the heart of ICT. From a great selection of Wichita flag items, to local photography and art of the city, to so much more to explore, this is always a spot worth visiting. I especially like it being so close to The Spice Merchant, so that I can visit two of the town’s treasures back to back. My family and I have found many great items at The Workroom for our home and gifts to others, and have received some of the highest level of service from the staff and even from the artists themselves. I give this place my highest recommendation.
Love this place! The sign out front says “best local shopping” and I have to agree! Tons of Wichita themed gift items, a super cute plant shop attached and a little cafe where you can get breakfast tacos. As other reviewers said, it’s kind of pricey but I like supporting local artisans. I went on a Sunday and there was live music. Service is great and super helpful! They’re right next door to spice merchant so you can shop at both.
