Used to go to Thirsty’s before the pandemic started and it was great! The vendors pre covid were very friendly and welcoming. The vibe has changed drastically there. The last couple visits I’ve had there haven’t been great. Some of the vendors are very rude and they constantly watch you while you’re looking around. My girlfriend got creeped out by the older men there saying that they were following her around and making suggestive comments to her while I wasn’t near her. That is unacceptable. That is sexual harassment. I wouldn’t suggest going to this market. It’s not a welcoming place to be anymore.

Me and my hubby have been coming here for awhile now. You could say we are regulars. We usually come on weekends as that’s what works best for us and every time we come here it NEVER disappoints. It’s not all about finding treasures and deals…it’s about building relationships with people. There is so many amazing individuals at this market but I would like to narrow it down to a couple of people that really made each of our trips worth while. Charles. Charles is such a kind hearted man who absolutely knows his stuff. He isn’t about ripping people off and just selling for the sake of the item being gone. He will kind heartedly open his heart up to you and tell you lots about the items he sells and will help you if you have any questions or concerns. Chris, he is absolutely amazing to deal with! If you have anything film and television he is the guy to go to! You can truly tell when someone has a passion for what they do and they arnt just in it for the money and THIS GUY is it! He always has a smile on his face when you see him and he absolutely will make your day! He absolutely loves to talk about pop culture art and film posters and movies. He’s very open and friendly! Rae. He is very much like a younger version of Chris but with a little more focus on music and visual media. Another guy that is honest and very knowledgeable about many different things. Over all thirsty’s is very much a thriving community and everyone has passions and hobbies that they love to share and help you with following yours. If you have a hobbies or passion, come to thirsty’s and you’ll be part of the family. Everyone there is awesome in every way. Thirsty’s Flea market is the place to be!

Talk about taking a walk down memory lane, if you collect nostalgic anything, Thirsty’s flea market is the right place to go. Many different vendors with many different items. Located near to polo park between Wall and Erin on Ellice Avenue. Worth a gander to say the least

This used to be THE flea market to go to but it's not that great anymore. Half the tables are closed and the ones that are open charge way too much for their used merchandise. We stop in probably only once a month or so now and never end up buying anything.

absolutely love this flea market and has a fantastic selection of sellers and videogames, however, do not ever get repairs done from the guy in the back corner. He assured me he could repair my Virtual Boy, which was a very simple repair. He wasted time, money, and my patience trying to do a repair he couldn't do instead of just admitting he couldn't do it from the start. instead he not only damaged my property and made excuses for why it was taking so long (3 months on a 10 minute repair) but he stole one of the screens from the system. the screen he did "fix" has since stopped working properly as well. Don't trust him. everyone else is really kind though :) great place to get japanese gameboy games for a good in-person price
