Tried Toby's for the first time, even though I've lived in Pinellas County for years. Everything was solid. Great NY Style pizza, meatball sub, garlic knots. Even the cheese steak sandwich was good. Service is extremely fast as well. Wish I knew about this place years ago. We'll definitely make this a regular stop!
We have lived in St. Pete for 5 years and have been in pursuit of a good quality pie and salad that can satisfy. Well we found it here. You start by ordering your items at thr counter and then seat your self at an empty both. Gives you a vibe of an original pizza restaurant from the 80's and 90's. Ordered a side sald with cheese. It was thinly shredded iceberg with tomatoes and onions. Homemade vinaigrette dressing was delicious, but was very heavy ( we will order on the side next time). Pizza was huge and delicious, cheese was high quality and pepperoni was flavorful. It was finished off with a very thin hand tossed crust that was perfectly cooked and not burnt as many competitors are. Will be back soon, and can't wait to try again. As of now #1 pizza in St. Pete. I still have more places to try.
Great and friendly service. Reasonable prices. Was not a fan of the pizza. Maybe overcooked or stale. Never seen pizza break apart before. Very crowded and narrow restaurant. Some of the seating was occupied by pizza boxes and other supplies. Very busy.
Best cheese steak hoagie and pizza in all of Pinellas county! A taste of Philly and New York in your own back yard. Pizza size is either small "Big" or large "Bigger"! Salads are fresh and crisp and the house made Italian dressing is excellent. A must stop for lunch, dinner, or just a snack. I dare you to try their garlic knots!
Went here because of the rating. Overall idea would say this is a safe bet for New York style pizza. Got a 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni, would say the pepperoni was a bit better. Enjoyed the pie, but will also consider trying other pizzas in the area if this is considered a 4.7+ star parlor. I liked the inside/atmosphere a little more than the pizza.
