I’ve been bringing clothes to Tom’s since I moved to St Paul about 7 years ago. I typically get the waist on pants taken in, but have also gotten formal dresses hemmed and altered for various events. The pricing is fair and the work is always excellent. Highly recommend!

Not cheap, but the tailoring is solid. I brought in a lot of pieces, skirts, pants, and sweaters, and overall everything turned out well. My jeans have never fit this well. The first time there was a small issue with a skirt zipper, and the lady was more than happy to fix it and got it perfect. The only small downside is sweater repairs, you can see a bit of the mending. I’ve had sweaters repaired elsewhere where it was almost invisible, but this was still good enough. Overall very satisfied, would come back again

Love this place! They always do such a good job on both my American and Indian clothes. They are such kind humans too. I feel like they care about people and want to do a good job. I’ve gone to them many times and I’ve never been disappointed! I highly recommend! I’m very proud to support this business owned by people of color 🤎

I've had Tom's Tailor work on two full suits (shorten pants and jacket sleeves), shorten two pairs of linen pants and numerous types of shirts. Everything was well tailored, fit perfectly, and it doesn't even look like there was any altering done. Their attention to detail is amazing. Everyone working there is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I feel like the pricing is reasonable for the quality of work and attention to detail. I'll definitely be using them on any future tailoring needs.

It hurts me to write a not so good review because the last time I came here, they did a great job. Anyway, I paid over $300 dollars with a $45 dollar tip to get two dresses hemmed and altered in a 2 1/2 week timeframe. The quality was not good for the amount of money I paid for. I would think that they would do a final once over to see that everything is in good condition but that was not the case. The clip-on button to my dress was coming off and the dress is missing some hooks. When I picked up my two dresses, I had asked for a high slit for my green dress and there was no high slit. Tom said for me to come back in a couple hours and he will make it higher. It’s a 30 minute commute to St. Paul where I live so I decided to stay in the area - seeing that they close in 2 hours. Came back to pick it up and was in a rush so I didn’t bother to try it on, which I should have because when I got home, I tried it on and the slit was in the exact same spot. I don’t want to walk in there and complain and ask for half refund but I’m leaving for my trip in one day and I don’t have the energy so here I am. Also, both the dress are a tad too short.
