My fiancé and I have been working with Sue on creating our wedding bands and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Sue has made the process fun, engaging, and it’s helping us get more excited for our wedding day. By far the best arts class I’ve taken. I didn’t really come in with high expectations as I’ve taken numerous crafting classes over the years. The ring making class was totally different. Sue has an obvious love of teaching and she’s so so good at it. From the initial explanation of the steps and processes to the working help she never left out sides. I can’t wait to take the metal smithing class from her next.

I loved our ring making class! I'd never done any metal working before. Sue was so patient, and such a good teacher. The small class size made it really easy to follow along and get our rings made. I really enjoyed this and will definitely be checking out more classes!

Had a great deal of fun at the studio making stained glass flowers. I just wanted to learn a bit about stained glass. Sue is patient with questions and encouraging, and very chill, when I felt a bit overwhelmed. Really happy I took this class, will take another in the future!

If you have ever been curious about jewelry making and have wanted to give it a try, you should absolutely sign up for a class with Sue at Torn Edge Arts. I had never done any soldering or metal arts of any kind before taking a class with Sue. I was nervous about my lack of experience, but it was not necessary. Sue is a very patient teacher, you get a lot of individual attention, and the classes are laid back and upbeat. Highly recommend.
