I have been going here for 4 years and counting! The owners are the sweetest and are always helpful. The toys here are also wonderful! This is a good one stop shop for gifts.
Do not know if I went on a bad day but the lady who I assumed owns the store was super rude as I put my stuff on counter snapped at me when I tried to pay and told me to move my card and put her hand in front of reader because I was “messing it up” might I add the guy In front of me tried to pay and she kept doing his card wrong making it decline and she had to have a co worker assist her . Do not run the register if you can not be nice to people ? I even told her have a great day and she just handed me my bag . We are entering a recession and people are choosing wear to spend this money , I am trying to shop small business but this lady made me feel very unwelcome . It sucks because the store has such cute toys .
Go here if you want to be ignored and treated badly. This happens every time I shop there. Nope, this isn't about Covid and how trained staffing is in short supply. There are two employees that are consistently the culprits for ruining your day and the experience of shopping for your grandkids. I've tried to support the local shop on 4 separate occasions and parted with hundreds of dollars on each visit but I guess that wasn't enough to be treated respectfully.
Cool toy store, small and crowded, but well stocked, (or stacked)...with quality and unique choices of toys. By the looks of their inventory, ages 6 months to 6 years would have plenty to choose from. The focus here seems to be quality, specialty toys that require thinking, imagination, hands on, pretend, and most importantly... engagement with Mom and Dad! I loved all the "toys" that were miniature versions of grown-up "tools for tasks", that the child uses to mimic the parents. I was really, really tempted to buy that xylophone or miniature drum set for my 3 yr old granddaughter...I figured her mom would love it too! Being a retired "Pop" in this store is cool.
Really fun store! They have a really great selection and lots of cool stuff. Lots of toys that you don't see anywhere else, and well curated. Lots of great classic children's books along with newer education books too.
