Our family held a Celebration of Life at the Tramway Event Center for 130 people, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or comfortable setting. The space is lovely, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out—everyone felt at ease, and it created the perfect atmosphere for remembering our loved one. Chuck and Kona were absolutely wonderful to work with: kind, attentive, and genuinely supportive throughout the process. Everything we needed was available, and the day flowed smoothly because they were on top of every detail. If you’re looking for an event space that’s both beautiful and comforting—especially for something meaningful and personal—we highly recommend the Tramway Event Center.

The Tramway Plaza Event Center operates with non-transparent pricing and shockingly poor professionalism. Chuck provided one set of prices over the phone, then presented higher pricing in person, explaining that nearly everything was an additional add-on — including the patios, kitchen, and essentially any usable part of the space. None of this was clearly disclosed during the initial conversation, making the initial quote misleading. On top of that, the interaction quickly turned into constant upselling, with additional features repeatedly pushed as “necessary,” driving the price far beyond what was originally discussed. What appeared to be a base rate was effectively meaningless due to excessive add-ons. When we questioned the discrepancies and escalating costs, he stated he needed approval from his boss and promised to call us back. He never did. We then had to call Chuck THREE separate times, only to be told repeatedly that the owner was “not available.” There was no follow-up or resolution from Chuck, just repeated excuses and clear avoidance. The final and most disrespectful interaction occurred when we called again and, after clearly realizing it was us, Chuck said “I’ve got a call on the other line,” promised to call back, and once again never did. Even for the scheduled in-person meeting, he was nowhere to be found, requiring us to search for him on-site. The blatant disregard for potential clients was shocking to say the least. I strongly advise anyone considering this venue to take their business elsewhere.

This event space is amazing! Our group of 75 had a Christmas party and it was such an incredible night, mostly due to how great this space is. Chuck and Leticia are so invested in making your event spectacular, and I can't recommend this place enough!
