Since starting TM with Wendy a little over a year ago the following thoughts and experiences come to mind. I’ve found the main problems I was experiencing have seemed to spontaneously resolved themselves. Practicing TM daily I can say has influenced me to be less reactive and more patient, the technique is easy to learn and one has only has to be regular in practice to experience its benefits! For our part we just ( Take it as it comes ) Maharishi Mahesh Yogi . It’s a very simple meditation technique that I have drawn the analogy of sailing with the tide in contrast to rowing against it as it’s effortless when practiced as taught. It’s a technique that allows us to experience more emotional space by experiencing deep wakeful rest and in this competitive consumer driven society I feel emotional space and deep wakeful rest is exactly what’s needed everyday. It’s occurred to me that this experience of wakeful rest this space is pure creative potential! It’s akin to the silence between musical notes which spontaneously creates the melody . It’s the paradox of achieving more by doing less, it’s holding gently to life by letting go . In short learning TM is learning the art of moving with the tide of nature as opposed to moving against it and Wendy and Valerie have a very gentle ability to pass on this valuable knowledge. There’s simply no downside to learning TM and I’d recommend it to anyone!
