10/10 recommend the service department. Axel, Jake, Daniel, and Vern all went above and beyond. I have an older e-bike in with a battery not working. The first challenge was getting my bike to the shop. Jake lives near me and offered personal help, which was so kind, but it's a long-tail cargo bike, so too big. We eventually landed on using the Roadie, UPS's courier service. (This was the only negative - driver arrived with a Prius instead of a pickup truck, so I'd use Roadie with caution. This isn't on Trek, and they pushed that feedback to UPS.) Once the bike was in the shop, Axel's AMAZING service took over. He communicated with me multiple times a week. He even took it upon himself to call up the manufacturer to troubleshoot, and found out there were a limited number of discontinued batteries coming to market. I cannot overemphasize how great this service was...I was constantly amazed at how he and the team went out of their way to get my bike working again. THANK YOU!
Oliver and the team at trek San Diego went beyond the call of duty for me. I flew from Florida to race the Ironman 70.3 La Quinta. My bike did not did not fair well on the flight and I needed an aero bar pad set. I called trek in a panic. They had the piece in stock and FedExed over night to me. If you are looking for amazing bikes and superior customer service please give the a visit.
Besides absolutely solid and state of the art Trek bikes, the service at Trek Kearny Mesa is outstanding. Axel is absolutely the best representative and technician I have had the pleasure to interact with in over 15 years of my road cycling addiction (which may be a genetic condition, as I am half French.) I cannot recommend this shop enough.
Had a great experience at Trek Bike Shop and wanted to share. My bike was part of the Shimano crankset recall, and this shop was listed to help with that. From the start, the staff was super kind and helpful when I called with questions. They told me the repair might take 1–2 weeks, but it was actually ready in under a week. I asked to get updates by text instead of a call, and they did exactly that. When I picked up my bike, the shifting felt smoother than before, and I’m pretty sure they cleaned (or maybe even replaced) the chain. They even put my sensor back on the crank. It felt like they really cared about the bike. Best part? It was all done for free. Highly recommend this shop!
Love Trek bike shop! Service is always amazing… from building the bikes, servicing a bike, purchasing a bike! Love my new Electra Cruiser bike! John was so helpful, friendly, and patient while I asked a ton of questions and test rode 2 different E-bikes.
