We got there at 9 am and they didn’t have much too offer, Only a few different pastries, no menu. I didn’t get the feeling there was a mad rush and they sold out, versus just under prepared and didn’t bake enough. There were plenty of people preparing and baking food in the background, but the shelves were basically empty. The coffee was cold. The donut was awesome just with they had more than just glazed.
The bread here is good. The eclair is the worst I’ve ever had and the pastries are on the dry side and not well laminated. I think they are doing too much. Focus on bread and pastries but to add eclairs seems like stretch because Choux is so hard to keep. They also do donuts which are good. They sell out quickly which is no issue and understandable when it comes to fresh food. I don’t think I will be back.
Twisted Tree has the best sour dough bread. It has helped my bloated stomach go down and feel better. We love the cranberry walnut sourdough to make grilled cheese sandwiches with basil and jam. We also tried 3 different pastries which were delicious. Every employee was kind and patient and the establishment was very clean. I highly recommend.
Good baked goods. Croissants are good and flaky and they're cookies are good. I love the sourdough bread! Very good!! $11.00 a loaf is pretty expensive even for a local bakery. But worth a try.
My first time visiting here and was pleasantly surprised! Very clean and open so you can see the baking that is being done. Limited seating inside with just counter type chairs at the window. They do have patio seating but today was rather windy so we opted not to sit outside. Since this was a first time visit and we arrived later in the morning so maybe a lot was sold out. I purchased a Crookie - which is a cookie inside a croissant! Very unique & tasty but definitely need a cup of coffee to go with.
